I remember when i read it in the comic,it was so brutal and actually made me feel sad,in the show it was way worse,because we lost 2 great characters,and Glenn specially was way better in the show than in the comic.

Because Daryl stood up to him and Negan needed to make another example. He regrets this now to the point that the Dama is using Maggie and Glenn's son Hershel as leverage against him.

@@eye8but628 I did. But honestly, in his position, Rick and the gang have done the exact same thing in retaliation. I mean just look at what they did to the Terminus survivors. As Negan later points out to Maggie, those were still men with family, friends and loved ones who were looking for answers and justice. Over 20 men killed, many of whom were sleeping and they hadn't actually done anything to Alexandria yet. Rick and the gang brought this upon themselves. Honestly they're just LUCKY that it was Negan that they were dealing with rather than some of the crazier members of the Saviors. Under the command of Simon, the Saviors slaughtered every male above the age of 10 in Oceanside in revenge for their defiance. Children too, not just adults. Negan had nothing to do with that.

@@WarGrowlmon18 "Terminus surviors" looks like someone didnt watch season 5 lol. Those "Surviors" trick rick and their group trying to eat them. RIck killed them beacuse of that to protect his people. Negan on the other hand killed people just for fun

And another thing i want to point out is that, Negan people were also going to killed abe, daryl and Sasha at the beginning of season 6. They were a threat to begin with lol

@@eye8but628 But they went overboard there too is the point: Rick hacked Gareth apart with a machete, Abraham bashed one guy's brains in and Sasha stabbed another a whole bunch of times. Overkill. The guys on the road tried to rob them, that's it. Rick and the gang did that massacre in order to get a trade deal with the Hilltop. As for Negan, while he doesn't hesitate to kill if necessary, he typically doesn't enjoy it. He once told Maggie that he's only a monster when he absolutely has to be in order to put on a show to protect his people. There ARE some real monsters amongst the Saviors, but Negan actually isn't one of them. People who have massacred CHILDREN as punishment for their community rebelling. Negan had nothing to do with that.
