@@boomgirlbucko Huh? Firstly, which season? 9 or 10? Because OP mentioned deaths from across the two seasons? Second, who do you consider to be "main characters"? Because realistically, we only really lost 2 Main Characters in Jesus and Tara. I don't count Rick as he didn't "die" but we did lose him I guess. I'd say Season 7 had the most main character deaths in Glenn, Abraham and Sasha. These 3 were long-time characters with mostly fleshed out character arcs that had real screen time and impact on the overall narative.

Has there been a finale since season 6 that didn't have an amazing emotional score? 6 - negan's theme bringing the fear 7 - Maggie's speech bringing hope 8- Rick's speech honouring Carl 9 - kids playing in the snow enjoying life just after a horrific event Then this, what was essentially a suicide attempt saved by a girl from a broken past

This scene brought me to tears, the first time I watched it. Even hearing the notes causes me to have an emotional response. The Walking Dead is an incredible show that to me, is second to none in its genre. Such a beautiful end to the Whisperer's Arc.

@@far.we1l arc just means like a part of a story. So for example the first arc was then trying to figure out why outbreak happened, then there was Governor arc, Negan arc, Whisperers arc, etc.

This was my favorite scene from the whole season. It was so beautifully shot and scored. Everything about the scene was perfection. Now all of the whisperers are gone. Lydia finally let go of the last reminder of her mother she had.

Perfection is a step too far. The concept was lovely, the execution was messy. Why would Carol need to walk off the edge in order for the walkers to keep going? Why did none of the walkers take notice of Carol and Lydia? Was the herd really that big if they were all gone in a matter of seconds? There's a lot they got right with this scene but there's a lot they got wrong too.

@@gregoriouscwadley4204 The heard was big it just didn’t show all of them going off the cliff otherwise camera woulda been on that shot for 10 mins. And I think it was less of Carol needing to do it but more wanting to do it. Going down with the war she caused kinda thing.

@@Chubs-zv6ov agreed. That whole herd in real time would’ve been like 20 minutes. I think carol was ready to die and fix the mistakes she made is why she was leading them. As for the walkers they were more focused on the others that were walking off the cliff. Carol had guts and Lydia had the stink of the whisperer mask on so it camouflaged them.

@@evanmacduff3888 I wouldn’t say All out War was well done tbh. The writing was good but there was a lot of dumb mistakes and stupid plot points. It was half decent. But the Whisperer war was definitely a lot better. 🤙🏻

@@evanmacduff3888 Yeah. I wouldn't say Seasons 7 and 8 were as bad as people say, but I definitely agree that there were some poor decisions made that didn't necessarily need to be made. To kill off Carl just for Rick sparing Negan to make sense, I mean it worked out but there had to have been another way that didn't involve that.

After not watching walking dead for a couple years I got bored enough to watch some of season 9 and full 10 on Netflix. the whisperers arc to me was the best arc including the beginning of the show really. This scene and the music was really something too, really highlighted/summed up Lydia’s character progression and her relationship with Carol.

After the end of season 3, with Mcreary's beautiful melody, this was the second most emotional scene to me. Perfect ending for The Whisperers phase of the story. It doesn't matter if the show sucked eventually, it will forever have a place in my heart as one of the best I've ever watched.

Phenomenal music, amazing camera work/shots, dialogue, acting. Perfection. Heartbreaking. PERFECT. People complain about the new seasons, "too much about people not enough about walkers", we got plenty of zombies in 7+8. People forget that it's supposed to make you feel involved in the show, make it feel real, in real life you would come across bad people, bad groups, doing bad things to survive. And they pulled it off amazingly. The whole show is perfect, and brilliant, start, to almost finish 💛🥺
