Steven saying and Nikki agreeing with Negans sentiment regarding how he would have changed the lineup, saying he would have killed them all left me wondering and would like to hear you guys take on my thoughts. Had we watched from the Givernor or Negans point of view, gotten to build connections with the group through to the point Rick and crew crossed our alternate crews path would we see Rick and crew as foes against our group of Negan or Governor s clan, would we see the group we had followed from the start as being the good guys leaving Rick and his crew as our enemies. the outsiders who are trying to destroy what our alternate group we were led off following we watched be built through all their struggles and qtory lines making us care for that group, , the same as we now see Rick and crew as our good guys? In the big picture of all things all three leaders were only trying to protect and maintain safety for their followers and have done all things imaginable to make that happen. I could see the story written completely to a narrative wgere we were following the good guys and the leader isn't Rick that we would be rooting for just as we do with Rick as the shows perceived lead character only due to when and where we were first introduced to him and his followers.

Maggie gave Elijah what rick took away from her when he let negan live so I dont blame her when he said for Josephine and the others. She is a different Maggie from the one that left 7 yrs ago. Great episode!!!!

I didn´t care about Alden that much since Enid left, but when I heard Maggie crying over him I remembered how special was Alden to her, since he was the first savior Maggie trusted when she began her leadership at the Hilltop. Of course special mention to Lauren Cohan, what a performance!

Something that no many people have seen. You can see that Alden's throat was sliced open, both of his legs broken, something that suggests that he was found in the church by reapers and tortured more than he had been before, all off-screen.

As a graduate of fire science and emergency services. Your question about Will rain put out a fire that's fully ablaze. And the answer is usually no. The fire would be too hot and the rain would just evaporate by the time we got close enough. Considering the water droplets are too far apart. Whereas with a firefighting hose stream from a hose it's all in one stream.

Maggie might be a gangster but she’s a terrible, terrible leader. Way too emotional in her decision making, no strategy, balance or rationality. It’s all about her need for revenge. You could see Daryl gradually realising (over a few eps) that she’s a total loose cannon. That was to me behind his choices epiphany- the realisation. That they keep getting nowhere because someone is always seeking revenge and dragging them into yet another fight instead of walking away or seeking beneficial terms or an escape route

I love how Negan is absolutely terrified of Maggie. After seeing her slaughter the Reapers the way she did he knows she’s not a woman of her word. He knows even if she promises not to kill him, she’s blinded by rage and anger. Nothing will stop her from aiming her gun on him and pulling that trigger and Negan realized this. Maggie heard his words echoing in her head. “If I could do it all over again, I’d have killed every single one of you”. Just goes to show how much he’s really influenced her in such a short time.

I don't think it's so much him being scared, he just knows that whatever she say go. And nobody really has his back where he's at. After glens death that changed her and he see nothing he do is going to make her like him( he done saved her on more then one occasion) I definitely don't think he's scared of her. Negan is one of my favorite characters and have been for a long time.

I don’t think he’s necessarily scared of Maggie, he just finally accepts that no matter how much he tries to make up for his past. Him and Maggie will never be able to coexist together, cause he witnessed that at the end of the day she will always be driven by vengeance. Negan doesn’t want to kill Maggie, and he doesn’t want to cause any more trouble with the people he has wronged. So he’s doing himself and Maggie a favour by choosing to leave and start fresh elsewhere, and spare her from ever being triggered.

People still judge Rick's group but all I remenber it's Negan's group who attacked first and wanted to kill them because they were refusing to follow them and even when Rick's group tried to follow their rules they were still killing them. So Negan has no excuse, he can only blame himself now. I understand the opinion people changed since Negan turned into a good guy because he lost war which is absurd bc in reality it would never happen but it's okay let's say it's a show. I don't see how people could imagine she would coexist with someone who literally killed her husband in front of her with a baseball bat and laughed when he killed it. Honestly if it's a favour it's completely disrespectful, he's not the victim here. At least she let him alive he should feel lucky, if Shane was still alive oh trust me he would be dead the first day.

But if he's removing himself out of Maggie's presence, he kinda is tho cause she doesn't have to see him anymore and they can put their rivalry to rest in a scenario where neither or them dies. Sometimes the best punishment is living with the things you've done, especially when Negan comes to terms with the fact that he was in fact a monster. Maggie doesn't have to forgive Negan (and she shouldn't), but if Negan is willing to live with what he did, learn from it and and won't cause anymore trouble than he should start fresh somewhere else away from Maggie.

They played a version of the Governor’s theme music when Maggie shot the Reapers. Foreshadowing? I got chills. She acted like Negan or the Governor. Just shot them in cold blood from behind. And Negan better come back!

I’m thinking Daryl is trying to help Maggie and the Hilltop. They didn’t look like they were doing too good 6 months later. Maggie probably said “Hell no” to the commonwealth and Daryl is thinking he can talk her into making what he thinks is the right decision.

Rick killed his best friend in season 2 when there was no common enemy to fight against in their small window of peace at Hershel's ranch. History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme. When a community (or communities) kills the common enemy, the people will eventually turn on each other to create common enemies.

@@luliu4572 No. His bestfriend attacked him first (as what I remember) rick could have forgiven him but if rick didn't kill him he would do the same thing and kill rick. And what happened was that he betrayed rick by sleeping with his wife and they wouldn't be enemies if that didn't happen. That scene where darryl and Maggie seems to be enemies seems to be suspicious because they have such a strong bond for them to turn to each other and kill one another

The Walking Dead is just love. Watched this eposide yesterday and it was one of my favorites, like the other episode where they showed Negans Backstory. Twd was my childhood and 4 weeks before I started again watching all til here, and I'm sad that it gets closer to the end every time, every eposide I watch. The Walking Dead is Love forever.

I almost lost faith in Gabriel when he was going to refuse to kill this monster who just used god like an excuse to commit his crimes and when he killed him I was like "THAT'S MY BOY GO AHEAD HE DESERVES IT" like Maggie revenge on Josephine's death and the best part it's "No jensen here, call me Gabriel" god I love him and Aaron they are owning the show. Still sad Alden didn't survive he was an amazing AND WTF the twist at the ending Daryl you better have a good explanation

My wish regarding daryl being a commonwealth soldier " the commonwealth know where rick is" so daryl has joined them to find rick at any cost. But maggie does not believe rick is alive. Hence the 6 months future scene

The only thing I can think of as to why Darryl is a storm trooper is honestly he isn’t a loan wolf anymore his priority now is Judith and RJ maybe he did it to protect them. But something big had to have happened for Maggie and Darryl to be at odds I hope they’re just playing the CW.

Feels good to see you guys popping up again for a TWD Reaction video. Really good episode, Gabriel did an amazing job, but my vote for the badass of this episode goes to Maggie. I love her character and her arch. And I think Negan’s departure will both be a blessing and a curse for her. A blessing because he can clearly influence her behaviour when it comes to killing others. A curse because I have no doubt that not getting justice for Glenn will hang over her forever. It would if I were her. I have no idea what to make of the ending. Whether people read the comics or not, this is uncharted territory with Daryl as he was never in the comics. I hope he see what fully happens in those 6 months as opposed to just snippet flashbacks. Anyway, love to you both, the kids, and the kitties. Looking forward to your first KZfaq stream since swapping from twitch. Will keep supporting as always!

Of all my favorite episodes, this one is right at the top. And yes, Maggie can be ruthless when she needs to be. Maggies pain runs deep. So many things have happened. Herschel, her sister, and Glen. Not to mention many close friends along the way. It's a wonder she has any sanity left. I have a feeling sanity has no place in such a world.

Man Its been a few episodes in the entire existence of this show that hit emotions. What a season opener for a tv show,it hit so hard on all emotions back to back in each scene. I couldn't believe how great it was, compared to last season. .

If I had to guess I predict the next 7 episodes will continue on from before the 6 month time jump, where we'll see our group discovering what The Commonwealth is all about and come the mid-season finale we'll arrive back at this point in the story, after the 6 mnth jump. Of course Daryl is undercover in TC Army sooooo I'm not even sweating it.

I fully support what Maggie did to the Reapers. The reapers attacked an innocent community and killed tons of men, women, and children and were determined to continue doing so to anyone who happened to cross their path or they just so happen to discover. They were too dangerous to let live especially with their skill sets and their group mentality. I’d do the same. They were determined to continue killing people and had zero intention on stopping. As much as it sucks, that’s the only way to stop them. So as far as I’m concerned justice and punishment were met.

The way I remember the Commonwealth storyline in the comics is that it becomes dangerously political that’s the story that they might go into and it’s splinters out into a shared universe

All I'll say is that the show is very different from what the comics were now. Like for instance Rick, Michonne and Dwight were major characters in the Commonwealth storyline. That's obviously going to be different. So it will be interesting to see what other changes get made. The Reapers felt very forced. Like it was a way to reintroduce Maggie to the show and it all kind of fell flat.

Have you all seen the pics of Norman and Andrew hanging out in Georgia while TWD films it’s last episodes? I wonder if rick will be back in the final episodes or if he’s just there as like..to see the show off. I almost fear he won’t be because they were so public about Andy being there. Usually they try to hide that, like they tried to do when Shane came back.

Also: Alden was actually attacked by the reapers and even tho he was messed up bad and barely alive, he managed to kill one of them (the walker when she first entered”. He actually has a slit throat in this scene but it’s super hard to see
