The Walking Dead:Season 5: UPDATE ON GAME (Skybound Games)
It's been over 5 years Since The Walking Dead Telltale Games Series ended with Take Us Back. In today's video, I update you on Telltale Games, Skybound Games, Deck Nine Games, and the potential next batch of Walking Dead Games coming! Recently it was revealed Skybound Entertainment canceled a deal with Deck Nine Games to work on a sequel to Telltale’s The Walking Dead! Telltale Games last year announced they received 8 million dollars in funding from Skybound and Hiro Capital to help release The Expanse and support the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 along with an unannounced title! Could we see "The Walking Dead Season 5" starring either Clementine or AJ - Could we see a new playable character in a new twd game - S4 had an open ending for a sequel starring Clementine or Aj or even a dlc/spinoff. Will Skybound continue with it with another company I do believe it will inevitably happen! The Walking Dead game is getting something new hopefully in the future from Skybound Games or Telltale Games. 5000 LIkes?

I’m kinda glad D9 isn’t at the helm of this anymore especially without Telltale 😅 While the circumstances behind why aren’t good, their lack of experience in more action-heavy stories and questionable story writing at times makes me think they aren’t the best for a new game. I’m already a bit jaded at the idea of a s5, but if they do it I want it with new characters or some of the ones who went missing, NOT any of the those who got a proper conclusion (unless they’re gonna fix Clem’s story lol).

Same, though I'm personally not as jaded as much as I am exhausted for the constant need to have stories/properties continue. I just want TWDG to rest and be what it is. Let the thing stand on its own and the test of time. TWDG doesn't need another season. There's already been off-shoots, like Saints and Sinners, that are also video games but a different format. But, yeah. If they decide to do it anyway, leAVE CLEMENTINE (and AJ) ALONE.

What I think the new storyline should be primarily about: Delta-Unknown Community War. What Abel was talking about and what Eddie (400 Days) was up against. They both said that they are Savages/Sick F***S that do worse than what The Delta did in The Final Season.

@@Kenny-ep2nf don’t you remember the Abel Interrogation Scene and Eddie’s Last Words were at McCarroll Ranch? Those guys are unknown at the moment, but should be explored more from a different POV with a new character that’s in the Delta, who are at war with a different community.

It would be amazing to have another Walking Dead instalment, but hopefully they do it with a well thought plan and pacing. The is not a single project of the new Telltale that is solely developed them. I’m starting to believe that they are more of a publisher right now. It’s possible that The Walking Dead was in development between Deck Nice and Telltale, just like happened with The Expanse. So it might still be in development now with Telltale and another studio. But they all are going to deny everything, if they are not working, they will say the same as if they are working. So, we just have to wait for an official announcement. Since this is overseen by Skybound, it must be their idea to keep silent until it’s ready, because Telltale doesn’t care of announcing a project more than 5 years before it’s ready.

We know that Telltale and Skybound are made for each other, just check on social media and see how they indicate the work they did in the past, they know that to relive moments like the game of the year award in 2012 only if they work together again , I'm not saying they will surpass past achievements, but they will honor the legacy they created together, and we know that the TWDG franchise is only good in the hands of Telltale.

I just finished Season 4 few days ago, I love clem and AJ so much!!! My ending is, so sad he shoot his first friend ten. AJ : Im alive (at season 5). Clem will remember that.

had to literally quit an important mission while in the middle of it to watch this and i think your right, only telltale should make the sequel, no other company. telltale made it legendary and will continue to do so, i hope telltale gets more funding or continues working on it somehow 😢

Personally I wouldn't want any continuation of Clem or Aj's story. It ended pretty well enough and should be let to rest. Reanimating the corpse of something that should be better left alone is how we get the Clementine sequal books or the Star War sequel trilogy. Have it be completely disconnected or maybe have a cameo appearance from a survivor that left the group like Molly. Honestly also wouldn't mind it taking someplace else other than southeastern US like Cali or Oregon.
