this season was great.. a story of complete and utter despair, mental breakdown, helpessness, submission to an evil power... then we transitioned to hope.. strength, friendship, sacrifice, more strength, more hope, unbreakable resolve to fight to the death! for freedome!

The Group is rising up! Beautiful ending with beautiful song! And amazing work B. Claimed, gotta love how pictures change at the very end. Seeing Maggie smile is so calming. Such an amazing Mid-Season Finale! ^^

When first heard it I called my son who also watches and asked if he could find out the name of this piece. I love classical music and instrumentals. I watched episode 13 tonight 'Bury Me Here' and feel it is also one instrumental with acoustic guitars that many will want to find out more info about including myself. Everyone in this scene except for Daryl and Maggie are all gone by the end of 11x24. (I dont count Rick and Michonne since they never reunited with the group.)

B.Claimed, you are doing an awesome job. You are so precise and truthful in your work that I could not possibly thank you enough for this. Not only you are extracting all these themes that we probably wouldn't hear anywhere else other than here and on the show itself, but you are also telling us when they are played! I broke up in tears when Daryl gave Rick his gun. That object means so much in many ways, just like Hershel's watch, and we would all feel sad for them to be lost. The Revolver resembles Rick's own strength of will. It fashinates me how the showrunners can make stuff like this happen: even something like a fireweapon could achieve more of a mental/emotional value, instead of just being portrayed through its practical function. By getting back his own gun, the one he had ever since before the apocalypse, the one chosen by himself as Rick Grimes, Deputy Sheriff of King County, Atlanta, Georgia, is something which allows him to re-estabilish confidence and familiarity, needed to put him back as the chosen leader for the revolt.

My ideal show finale is this, Alexandria is prospering and the crew is back together and happy. Daryl is outside shooting walkers with his bow and collecting the arrows back and as he looks up down the main road leading to the entrance, he faintly sees two people in the distance walking towards him. He then sees the two people he thought he would never see again. It's Michonne and she is happy to see Daryl and right next to her, as the camera slowly pans over, for the first time in 4 years, we finally see Rick alive and in happy tears. Daryl is in absolute shock and begins to run towards them in tears and both Rick and Daryl hug at the gates of Alexandria. The three of them head inside and Daryl leads Rick and Michonne to Judith and RJ. Rick in absolute tears runs towards his children and gives them the biggest hug of all time. Everybody else like Carol and Maggie realize Rick is alive and all get together in the center of Alexandria hugging and exchanging smiles. The final shot is Rick and Michonne with Judith and RJ looking towards the sunset as the series draws to a close. The answers to why Rick was gone for so long will inevitably be answered in the movies.

I remember shouting “ALL-OUT WAR!” during this scene when they were walking to the mansion, honestly if it wasn’t for Bear’s incredible score in Season 7 & 8 I would’ve been out of touch with the show a long time ago

What's so sad about the pictures at the end is that everyone besides Rick, Maggie, Daryl, Carol and Michonne even tho Carol wasn't in the pic they are all dead besides those few and Rick is gone. I hate it! But can't wait for Season 10 to start next month.
