Part at 3:14 always gives me chills and relief like its finally over and Rick has his peace that carl wished for . Now all he was missing was Carl and you could see it in his face he wanted carl there by him for the victory . Should of gave us a ghost shot of carl smiling to his dad 🖤

When Rick breaks down at the tree, that's one of my favorite scenes on the show. That episode was horrible, but Andy's acting just makes it all good.

I just finished this episode, it was really great, Andrew Lincoln is a great actor

I've been waiting for this since the finale. It was the best scene from the episode for me. The rolling hills of Georgia juxtaposed with the moving herd and Rick offering a vision of hope just made it perfect but the music was the cherry on top

Go out to somewhere on a sunny day, looking at an excellent view of hills and forests playing this song. Its chilling, and fits the setting and moment perfectly.

honestly I look at the speech as a coping method for depression "all this ...this is just what was....there has to be something after!" that last part "there has to be something after!" honestly after suffering for long you keep telling yourself there has to be something after and it does help me cope

'The Day Will Come' was the music of defeat and fear. This is the music of victory and peace. I think I'll miss the music the most.

Listening to this song as season 10 draws to a close. This is such a great track. It captures both the sad fallout of the war between Rick's group and Negan's group while also reminding us of the vision Carl left for Rick and Negan about how the future needs to belong to everyone. I will never forget this.

3:10 Then Morgan decides his time in Virginia is over and went to Texas and met the fear crew along with some new characters and a crazy black chick that liked turning ppl into walkers that killed her self in the end and then Morgan just decided to start a trucking company at the end smh (spoilers for fears season 4 finale)

Rick's decision to spare Negan ended up shaping both their destinies for the remainder of the show. Negan did end up changing, much like Morgan's everything gets a return philosophy, and his actions especially with the Whisperers saved the greater community, as well as countless other actions (saving Judith, his relationship with Anne, etc) As for Rick, his capture by the CRM was directly related to this merciful action. Daryl and Maggie's deception over trying to kill Negan was what put Rick in the position of getting trapped by the horde and bleeding out before the bridge explosion. Everything he endured those 6+ years was a result of his mercy. In the end, it led to a better world when he and Michonne defeated the CRM. It's a great way of showing why mercy is so powerful and what it can lead to.

The walking dead is so much different now, a whole new era.

Could you make it so the last 50 seconds is its own video. That is the best part.

The show didn’t capture everything that the comic gave you, with how they conveyed this very powerful story, but with this bit, they got very close. Close enough to relate. Creating something stories/ directing from a myriad of possibilities and perceptions, talented writing is infinitely harder then you would first think it is.
