Im so happy for Rick that they brought out this series and gave him some happy family re-union moment but the show is know for its ruthless moments and spontaneous deaths.💯💙

Man. Imagine that kind of revelation. Taken away from your entire world, for so long, then to make it back and find your family who never gave up on you. Having Rick see his and Michonee’s son for the very first time harkens back to the first season when he found Lori and Carl still alive. This man has more than earned a peaceful rest of his days…

This felt like such a more rounded ending than the end of season 11.

I wanna see all together! Rick, Carol, Daryl, Maggie, and of course, Negan!!

I loved the ending but I wish the timing was a bit different, we get three episodes of Rick being scared that happiness is a reality again, that’s understandable and makes it feel more real to see a man like him so broken ..but then the satisfaction of the ending is like less than five min of him seeing Judith again and meeting RJ.. I wanted to see that go on for an entire episode, then walking back to their settlement, seeing people reacting to Rick alive one by one, getting those tears pouring even if it was a silent montage with great music playing, slow motion shots low angle sun.. easy recipe for a total satisfaction ending. Instead it’s the five minutes only and it’s just feels not a flushed out resolution after Rick going near a decade trying to get back to his family… like easiest callback ever would have been they lead Rick through town he sees carol, Gabriel everyone and they sit down for a big outdoor family barbecue dinner almost exactly the way Rick imagined after Glenn and Abraham died or even walking RJ down the road and some cows come up to them… I mean.. really loved what they did just wanted a little more of it, more conclusion to the conclusion… just praying Daryl’s show ends with him returning and they do this big bromance reunion, tears pouring, saying “brother” that will get me.. 😭 sold. Lol here’s hopin’ 🤞🏻

I'm glad that we got to see Rick and Michonne's storylines wrapped up but boy was it a let down. What is this dialogue? And I understand that this is a fictional show about zombies but there was just something missing from this series that the first few seasons of TWD seemed to capture and that is a semblance of realism. When the show runners switched, the storylines became repetitive, the dialogue way too corny every chance there was and the charm of it feeling organic. Makes me so sad.

As much as I want to like this ending, the one thing I really disliked was that they made CRM dirty by letting Rick and Michonne knock them down like that. Felt like this would’ve been a good opportunity to let one more villain to be in the mix and actually proceeded with what Jadis said might happen, which is their people being attacked and that there was actually a boss in the mix that controlled everything behind the shadows we never noticed before.

*yOuRe thE bRaVe mAn ?* I'm genuinely curious as to how the actor playing RJ made it to the show. For everyone's sake I hope TWD time skips their growth and replace the actor playing RJ. I've seen much more better kid actors who nailed their roles and actually want the viewers for them to come back and maintain their role until they grow up. But this actor playing RJ? Just take a good look at 1:58. Rick, Michonne, and Judith were emotional nailing their roles while this NPC looks like an NPC. The show really messed up by taking Carl out of the show so what did they do instead? Gave Rick and Michonne a son and an npc.

I stopped watching the show a very long time ago. This felt more like a movie. Is this the Rick Grimes movie we heard about like six years ago? Where did the military even came from after all these years?
