So basically... the final endcredit scene was the most interesting part of the whole show lmao

The show starts with the sheltered kids struggling to kill a single walker to them killing multiple elite soldiers who have survived in the apocalypse for years

I'm never gonna watch this show, but I'm 100% certain this recap is a lot more entertaining.

When you summarise season 2 it actual doesnt sound that bad. If they just cut out all the boring filler and dumb teen drama this show wouldve been SO much better!

It’s funny how they managed to make people watch this show without any interest in the hopes they will learn about Rick.

This show was lame for 99% of it's duration but it had some really good moments and the post credit scene is bigger than the entire show itself.

If they don't do a Civic Republic vs Commonwealth war I'm going to be desappointed, they're both massive factions with a standing millitary and extremely territorial.

This recap makes it interesting as it increases the pace of events. Kudos to the Man of Recaps.

The drawing at 1:08 is proof that there is so much work, thought, notes, drafts, and what not that culminates into the perfection that is your recaps, and I want to appreciate you for all the unseen effort.

They could very easily bring an end to the apocalypse if all the colonies unite just for once. They certainly got the manpower for it, clearing the lands of zombies should be a piece of cake. But instead, they go warring against each other because if they end up killing all the zombies, the role-playing post-apocalyptic fantasy would come to a stop and they've would have to go back to rules and regulations and dull 9 to 5 jobs, and who would want to return to that drudgery, right?

Season 2 was a huge improvement over Season 1 and loved how they ended the show with many ways to connect to the future of TWDU with some characters possibly returning in more spinoffs.

Really glad you make these. Actually having to watch these feels like hell, but I have to know since I watched so much of the original walking dead lmao.

Plus Jadis is giving off the type of vibes Vandal Savage and Ada Wong would be proud of in her survival and status climb in her organization. I'm going to have to make time to watch this series from the beginning when I get the opportunity but thanks for this recap.

The world beyond is that type of show that makes you yell at the screen. The stupidity of their actions. How they're all so healthy and hearty in an apocalypse? Why use stone as a weapon when there are a million things they can use..i can go on for days.

The walking dead universe never had even the idea of zombies in media before the outbreak. It explains a lot of things across all Series and comic

Ive always wondered if they'd add running zombies. We did get some jogging in the original walking dead season 1 when Glen and Rick were running through the city but that's really it I think

Also how they choose to make things hard every step of the way and do a cross country trip just so they can take one of the kids to help with this so called future????? The end credit scene is VERY telling. I can sort of see why they kept it low key, but it still doesn't justify this series. I think it shows how they intend on diverging from the comic storyline. I always thought another war is too basic for 3 movies, but now that they have a common enemy(runners) they have a reason to have Rick bring everyone together just like in the comics but it will bring more intensity.

Its kinda cool that they're doing all these tie ins, if there wasn't so much unnecessary drama I would have kept watching. The amount of plodding meaningless filler this franchise has absolutely ruined it for me

Season 2 wasn't super bad. Although I still struggle with buying that the core four are now important zombie killing, and cure searching badasses. Seems forced. The Jadis/CRM parts were interesting though. If the trash lady from TWD was the best part of the spinoff then it really didn't offer a whole lot.

Season 2 was way better than season 1! Season 2 I really enjoyed!

The fact that they are unable for so long to kill a zombie has me rolling.

World Beyond was like a chore to watch in the beginning thats why it lost so many viewers and couldnt make it to a 3rd season.

This was a 2 year waste of time for a post credit scene, that basically says the us has zombies from us films and in europe we have 28 days later variants, this show was not needed, the post credit scene would have been sufficient in any episode of the walking dead

This feels like AMC's attempt at making a TWD spinoff targeted towards 13-16 year olds. They should at least finish the primary plot before trying to make entirely new stories with an entirely new cast. Sad fact is, the only reason people bothered watching this show is because they wanted to find out what happened to Rick. Recently the owner of TWD said he believes the franchise can go on forever. This makes me dread the fact that we may not get a Rick and Judith/RJ reunion anytime soon, even with The Ones Who Live being released now.

I never had a problem with the focus on the teenagers, cause it felt like a refreshing change of pace. I found the story to be compelling and it was interesting to see the post-apocalyptic world from a more structured point of view. You had your Walking Deads and your Fear Ofs where everything is just a wasteland and people survive by scrounging up what they can find. Then you got your World Beyond, where something akin to an alliance of rebuilt civilization has been established and you get to see the world from that perspective, with a hypertechnological bad guy (though, come on, black power armor, black flag, black vehicles and a very geometrical white symbol on a black background? Could we be any more on the nose with who the bad guys are?). However, what annoyed me about this show was that it was the most confusing one of the three; because so many times the conversations ended up simply alluding to things. Like "they are gonna know what you know and then they will kill you"... and I'm like "wait, who's gonna know what about what and kill you why???". Granted, it could just have been that I personally was bad at picking up the plot points, but it felt like a lot of information went by so quickly and under the radar that it was hard to keep up.

I would like to mention that in season 2 of the twd they had trouble with walkers but then these pack of random teanagers are killing no problem

I watched it because we were promised an explanation about the CRM. We kind of got that, but we had to sit through so much bs lol. My favorite parts was when Jadis semi mentions Rick in that final fight, and the end credit scene in France. Thankfully, Dead City/Daryl Dixon/Ones Who Live have all been really good so far. Ones Who Live almost has a 9 on IMDB which is great for this universe that once felt like it was dying off. Now, the universe is as strong as it's ever been with these newer shows.
