Reflecting to our own history tho, music and arts have often been tools utilized in resistance and rebellion. So mondstad being always tied to the concept of freedom, music and rebellion is a very realistic approach to world building

I think you might be on to something there, I was reading about Decarabian and apparently there are levels below what we can explore in Stormterror's Lair. They could also make it so the Abyss is all over Teyvat hidden underground as Childe fell into it through a crack in the earth in Snezhnaya.

@@TheLaughingManLore the domains and abyss already say in description "underground civilizations" so it wouldn't be far stretched to say if new land was created atop pre existing one beneath surface after the cataclysm and the one below is still habitable and is not all taken over by abyss. Also when you enter the domain dont straight up start the challenge and look around it is a whole world of itself and yet it says "underground" in descriptions, unlike adepti abode that are a pocket dimension thing. Idk mihoyo could anytime expand the pre existing area and make it canon how land below the surface has made been habitable by teyvat citizens too

@@pain-tf2lp Exactly! I love the look of the Vindagnyr domain and wish we could've explored the terrain down there. With the way the land in Mondstadt is so odd with all the jutting cliffs, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of places that were just built on top of due to Celestia resetting the World as they seem to like to do. I think Albedo's master Rhinedottir has a lab underground, though I can't remember if it was specifically said to be in the Abyss or not but that'd be at least one place we know of like that. Probably looks like something from a horror movie though so not sure I'd want to visit haha.

@@TheLaughingManLore omg yes Infact knights of favonious headquarters got a underground lab like they have to have it or what else did rhinedottir expect, a small tent and alchemy table in mondstadt plaza and called it "well facilitated"? Like the KOF building has like 3 rooms 2 of which is basically library and where does anybody else stay lol. Also venti and zhongli say they themsleves built cliffs and mountains for their respective cities. As for liyue there's people to confirm how zhong and adeptis did that but for mond there's only stories of Barbatoes making cliffs and all while everyone else was still moving from old mondstadt to new one. Like mihoyo just tell us kaeya got an underground mansion cuz I dont see much space on surface lol

@@pain-tf2lp Yeah I remember something about a lab in Mondstadt being mentioned in Albedo's lore and that little alchemy table can't be what they mean by well facilitated haha. Maybe the lab is beneath the KOF building then, it seems like a lab wouldn't be well suited to being on the second floor of the building that we can't visit. It'd be nice if we could go up there though, maybe we will be able to when Varka returns. I think the small amount of rooms/buildings is probably due to how the game would be too massive if each city could accurately house every citizen but it would be nice for immersion. Good point, they both have powers that have been able to shape the lands so it could've been Barbatos being lazy with how messy the landscape of Mondstadt is. I know he cleared away the ice and reshaped the lands to make Mondstadt habitable but the way it looks right now reminds me a lot of the landscape we see in the We Will Be Reunited teaser which I think was supposed to be Khaenri'ah. Now I'm imagining Kaeya has a secret underground mansion beneath Old Mondstadt haha, I'd love that!

I love the stories in game (especially this one) and was having trouble connecting all the scattered lore to make a cohesive story myself so that's why I started making these videos. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm not sure if it has a direct connection to their story but it talks about the ancestors of the aristocracy that were actually good people and ruled justly before the ones we see in this story that had devolved into being gluttonous elitists. There's at least one aristocrat we know of that seems to have turned into an Abyss Mage so it could be that these descendants who inherited the Noblesse Oblige artifacts took them to the domain as an offering to the tree there, kind of like the way the priests of the past offered their crowns of branches at the end of their rule. Got my mind speculating now haha *insert that gif of numbers flying around as I think*

I think it was a different bard than the one who was friends with Venti but I used Venti for this video as he was the closest character I have to represent a bard haha. Yeah I'd love to see a Genshin anime!

@@yuuzelthyc9683 I don't think it's confirmed but in Xiao's voicelines he asks about what Zhongli does in his free time as though he knows him so if I had to guess I'd say he does.

Not Venti's bard friend, this was long after Venti had overthrown Decarabian (2,600~ years prior to in-game, in comparison the Wanderer's Troupe and Venessa are around 1000~ years before in-game). Venti's bard friend is the "nameless bard"- he has nothing to do with the Wanderer's Troupe (other than that they also are musicians). These guys didn't get any help from Venti and, other than the one of noble birth, were slain (one was enslaved as a gladiator, but eventually died as well).

The artifact lore is some of the best in the game I think, I'm glad you enjoyed the story of the Wanderer's Troupe! Read up on the Bloodstained Chivalry next if you want more Dark Souls style lore.

In some lore it's to be wed to a noble but basically be treated as a servant but I'm sure I've read that at one time it was a literal human sacrifice as they had to leap from Barbatos' statue. I could be remembering wrong as I can't find the lore that says that atm though.

@@TheLaughingManLore In the manga the woman that been "sacrificed" is just throwing a ball from a tower and the one had the ball will get good luck for a year That's what I read in the manga

@@kidrifindo8642 Yeah I remember reading that, maybe I'm just getting things mixed up then. But the line the maiden says about being sacrifice in the video is straight from the lore so it does bring up some dark connotations.

@@TheLaughingManLore that is pretty interesting If genshin impact become anime I think they will be better like the fate series That's take the settings before the traveler story like the archon wars Because zhongli story has many mistery to be uncovered and also had a light hearted episode like carnival phantasm anime Where the characters like xiangling and friends learn how to cook and hutao pull prank on people that will be awesome I mean they making stacks of dollar's now it's possible And I hope they bring the english VA to that anime I have many speculation and things to talk about this game but don't know where than here If we had like subreddit to talk about the game, exchange theories that will be fun My prediction is the archon quest will be finished in 2,5 years from now It's just a blind Guess If you read this Thanks for reading!😁

@@kidrifindo8642 Ahh I loved Unlimited Blade Works, I hope Varka turns out to be like Iskander from that. Right up my street as I love ancient history and mythology. I don't think many games would be good as anime but Genshin seems to be almost too perfect as you've shown with all your examples. It would cost a lot but as you say, they're the company doing the best financially in the gaming world that I know of right now. There's the main Genshin Impact subreddit and one called Genshin_Lore I think, I might make my own in the future if we end up having a lot of people to add to the discussion but I think it'd probably just be you and me that joined if I made one now lmao. Np it was a great read!
