It drives me so crazy with tears to see in his last moments he was still thinking about us. He obviously had to make sure Kelsey and the baby’s were gonna be fine but he put this together knowing we might not have another chance to see them all together again. my wife is a medic at York Barbican and she met the lads in the corridor after a performance just 5 days before Tom died (Tom wasn’t there) she spoke to max and she said to me when she got home that she could tell by max’s persona when she asked that it was not looking good for tom. Oh my god. I remember listening to them so much years ago and was so sad when I heard they went their separate ways. Only to read on Snapchat news about his funeral. I couldn’t believe it. Poor guy. He went and sang until his final days where his body couldn’t take it anymore. Rest easy Tom. You fought so hard and bravely. And the boys… I hope they keep going with the band in his memory. You can tell how loved he was by his friends and family. So sad for everyone.

I was late to the news, and I was devastated. I knew The Wanted before anything else, and I’m very proud to say I knew all the lyrics and those beats by heart. You were so young and full of life, and I think that’s the only thing that matters. You were a name, you were a soul, and most of all, you were an amazing person, Tom. It wont be the same without you, but I know that Max, Nathan, Siva & Jay will carry the band and the memory of you like a hero they are. Stay gold forever, Tommy Boy, you did great ❤️
