I remember watching this movie when I was a kid back in the 1970's. It was pretty scary if you ask me, especially that one shot where the creature is seen underwater looking up! A few years ago I purchased the Blu-ray from Japan and was able to watch it on my projector at home! The image was 11 feet wide on the living room wall! Yikes!!!

I have the DVD of the original Japanese and English dubbed versions of both RODAN and WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS. They're 2 of my all time favorite kaiju movies amd the Japanese versions are real eye openers.

I love how the Gargantuas just quickly knock shit over without any remorse, Godzilla does also, but he's so slow about it, these guys are really fast at it and it makes it more exciting!

As a kid i was so scared of this movie could only see it in the day time and now almost 40 years later although it looks chessy and can laugh at it deep down its still just a little bit scary

This movie followed up the Japanese Frankenstein movie where both titular creatures were spawned from the cell samples of the giant version of Frankenstein's monster.

War of the gargantuas is so awesome 😗💜💜💙💙 that is so mean woman have to fall in movies but not men that's so mean it's stupid in all creepy movies in the end they always lose their lives 💙💜 this movie is 51 years old a year older than my dad cause he is 50 years old. I have seen this 20,0000 times. The green one is bad and his brother the brown one is loving and caring

This is from a Something Weird Video compilation entitled "Out of this World Super Shock Show". I assume this is something DEI/UPA threw together for the very few showings where WotG wasn't paired with another movie. The 1966 date is interesting, though. The double-bill trailer has the regular renewed 1970 copyright. It's also possible a similarly mundane trailer was made for Monster Zero and subsequent double-bill trailers/TV spots were edited from the same assets.
