I just found this video today, and I must say it's already one of my favorite videos on the internet. Not just because you used some of my favorite movies in it, nor because I absolutely adore Thinking of a Place, but because you've somehow managed to showcase the magic of human spirit and love in such a concise format. The confluence of song and visuals give this intense feeling of nostalgia and longing which is better experienced than described. I also love how you used films from a multitude of cultures and time periods. It so subtly yet proudly elucidates what ties us all together - that despite being from different countries or races or religions, we all have the capacity to love and lose. Perhaps more importantly, this video beautifully conveys that despite the longing, despite the pain, we all also have the capacity to bounce back. Sorry for the pointless rant, I just wanted to share how much I love this video, and I hope you make more in the future :)
