New animations after shoulder bash that have hyper armour

How tragic, they literally improved everything he had, replaced a move, added one and fixed wavedashing (it was a bug, not a feature).

Im a HL main and im really excited for this change. The amount of times i wish i could bash cancel or fucking HEAVY ON GB JESUS CHRIST. Now i can:D

@@SolaireofAstoraFH I should probably preface, those changes are very good, it just feels like they’re taking away so much of what made him unique, ik it’s a glitch, in fact it took me until that warriors den to find it was a glitch, but just on paper, defensive Highlander, very slow with good hyper armor trades and range kinda too, and in offensive stance he manages to be the most nimble hero in the game, it just puts a frown on my face, also if you could still get hit while wavedashing then just make wave dashing better, I don’t understand why they had to remove it entirely, I refuse that argument, it was a glitch, I just refuse it, I’m not saying you specifically, but some people bank their whole argument off of it being a glitch, it’s disheartening, again there are so many good changes but then they give it their, “Ubisoft flair” and just take interesting or cool mechanics away from a hero

@@Labicklapoopycringy according to ubi, they kept the wave dash because he didnt have a good dodge attack in off stance. They gave him a dodge attack in the rework and that gave them the excuse to remove it.

@@SolaireofAstoraFH I don’t mean to be an ass, but that’s not good enough, it’s not a good enough reason, they could have just kept it in or just expanded upon while keeping the dodge attack from offensive stance, it’s like conquerors crushing counter heavies, sure they were hard to get off for me at the time cause I was low rep back then, but they just got rid of it for no reason

@@thediamondcutter9185 in his opener zone, chain zone and finisher zone, which can also be done after a bash from a character that should represent a sneaky hunter that also has super fast 400 ms lights in chain and finisher and fast 700ms heavies in chain. Doesn't sound like HA fits him both gameplay wise and character wise.

@@thediamondcutter9185it’s so funny that one of the most interesting things about Highlander, one of the things Ubisoft are praised for, was a literal bug, like their mistake is their successes, they messed up and still made something awesome from it, I just find that to be quite funny, but just one question, why are you so concerned with viability because it seems like that’s all you care about

@@thediamondcutter9185 because now HL rather than being a high skill cap character, is going to be closer to the brain rot category. All he needed was a top heavy off gb and more sprint speed. My biggest issue is they are trading his dodge in offensive stance which is his gimmick ever since he released all those years ago. I have over 80 days on the character alone. Yeah the rework is stronger but its less fun. Half as rewarding to get kills with cause its too easy.

@@daz.9200 It was never his gimmick it was a bug. And it isn't brainrot, they just updated him so he won't be stomped by literally every average guy with a newer character.

@@thediamondcutter9185 it was not a bug, his speed dodge was not wave dashing. The fact you could make it even faster by swapping your guard any which way is called wave dashing. Him dodging fast was in fact his gimmick ask any 70+ highlander. And tbh unless you played him to max you really have no input on the character cause you know jack all how to do everything with him. He was a high skillcap character for a reason. I dogged on 99% of pple with him ez, got number 1 global with him on fhtr score and have well over a 2.0 kd with him in 1v1 modes. Got gm #4 using only him. Character was perfectly fine. People using him were just ass.
