I have run a lot of solar warlock and have a few thoughts for your viewers with this build. If you are running healing grenades you dont have to use pheonix dive to proc your restoration x2 just use the grenade and ONLY eat it if you want/need heat rises. Eating it while you still have heat rises can DROP the timer down to 15 seconds from 30. If you dont want healing grenade the fusion is a great addition but if you run this then you have to eat the grenade. Always fight near allies for ember of benevolence. 400% increase recharge is not something to miss or waste. Dont forget Heal clip procs benevolence. Scorch stacks are king for your dps with a build like this.

Another thing to remember with these infinite restoration builds is that if you get the duration up to 15 seconds and notice it's about to run out, then using your nade or dive before it runs out resets it to the full 15 seconds (or whatever the max number of seconds you managed to rack up) rather than starting over from scratch.

I use this same build with sunbracers, Touch of Flame instead of Icarus Dash, and solar grenade. Eat grenade for heat rises > snap to proc sunbracers > throw all your grenades > float and shoot enemies with incandescent weapon to regain snap and keep heat rises and restoration going. Fall down > snap > eat grenade (if it hasn't regened yet) > repeat. As long as you're floating and heat rises is active, every kill restarts timer on heat rises and restoration.

This general core with a few variations in the fragments and mods is what I've been using to solo things like Warlords Ruin, tweaking it a bit for different content, The largest deviation from what you have here actually is for when I just wanna stay alive and give myself room for some mistakes. I go Solace, Empyrean, then Searing and Mercy, the Searing Mercy combo is a weird bit of defensive tech as defeating scorched targets creates firesprites(And gives melee energy) and picking up a firesprite grants restorationX1... or extends existing restoration buffs(Including X2 varients), making it basically braindead for a new light like me to run around with perma Restoration X2, the sea of firesprites(From Searing and Dragon's Breath) I turned trash into with a sub/incan Luna's howl and near infinite snaps(From Dawn Chorus, Ember of Searing and some mods), both charge my healing grenade faster and give me another couple seconds on the restoration buff to bridge any period where trash is respawning. Add in fitting resistance mods and I was able to run around doing mechanics even with poor cover, then for damage phase, a rocket, mountaintop, into a super generally is a great start.

I just built this the last couple days as well. I was liking mini tool, running coil and other activities.

This is the exact setup I used to solo zero hour. Works beautifully. I also carry Karnsteins the swap to if I need extra survivability in certain areas. I also swap between HC/Incan Adhor and a enh demo/enh incan battler depending on my mood.

Luna’s with heal clip incan and ember of benevolence is amazing. It’s like having Starfire in all the time

i've got a build that is based on making as many orbs as possible and having amazing crowd control on a void hunter exotic: orpheus rigs subclass: void super: deadfall grenade: vortex aspects: trappers ambush and vanishing step fragments: persistence, instability, remnants, and starvation weapons: any blinding GL, graviton lance, and edge transit helmet mods: power preservation and harmonic siphon x2 arms mods: firepower and momentum transfer, harmonic loader chest mods: charged up and resist mods legs mods: void weapon surge and absolution cape mods: reaper, utility kickstart, and powerful attraction the point of this build is to create orbs with your super graviton lance and grenade. while also having INSANE crowd control. this is absolutely my go to build for onslaught by far one of the best hunter builds

You could also go with Lumina, which means you are using a double primary loadout, which would increase your Scorch damage from weapon sources. Assuming you want to crank up that crowd control damage, or dot on a big target, as high as possible.

A build I haven't seen around too much: Strand Warlock - Nezarec's Sin - Graviton Lance Shackle Grenades - Mindspun Invocation - The Wanderer Threads: Generation and Mind, I use Isolation and Binding for free Unraveling and more suspends on Supers, but those two can be optional. Any good special weapon for top slot, I use anything with destabilizing rounds in heavy slot (Chivalric Fire goes hard with Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace with the heavy attack). Eat grenade, Graviton Lance a group, mass suspend/explosion wave with the Void seekers. Melts Saboteurs in Onslaught, good for crowd control/building super with Orb Mods, bonus damage with Unraveling against Majors and Bosses. Crazy uptime of abilities, chaining explosions like the similar Thorn build, but with the added benefit of ability recharge.

I'm rolling with a build like this in the last two seasons and honestly it rocks !!! Even for for solo flawless dungeons it really performs really well

Touch of Flame is definitely the play for Resto x2 nades, it's extremely helpful for keeping your buff timer up. I personally run Icarus Dash instead of Heat Rises for the added movement and justification for healing rift in areas where you are doing more ranged combat and taking cover frequently. Autoloading+Recombination Mountaintop / Overflow+Incandescent Summoner / Dragon's Breath is incredible for mowing through adds and bosses alike. Hands-on mods are KEY to making this build sing - you want to be using your super constantly, this helps expedite it while making a ton of orbs for your teammates. Definitely want to try out post-FS BXR with Demo+Incandescent for this build as well, it'll probably cook. If we get a solar rocket sidearm with Incandescent, this build will go full nuclear. Admittedly, we lose a lot when the artifact mods go away this season, but it's still really fun and effective, good one to have ready to roll!

With Strand Titan being somewhat nerfed and Stasis being buffed, I found out that there is a build that can substitute, and depending on how Frost armor works, may actually be better than Strand Titan My build is using the Winter's Guile warlock exotic armor with Vexcalibur Winter's Guile gives you a buff to melee damage after a melee kill, which stacks 5 times, and at 5 stacks, Vexcalibur deals 50k damage per melee. Vexcalibur also gives a Void Overshield when blocking damage For now while we wait for the Final Shape and Frost Armor with stasis, I build into freezing enemies with the coldsnap grenade and getting grenade energy back. However, when the Final Shape releases, if Frost Armor's damage reduction stacks on top of Void Overshields, you can build instead into creating shards to get Frost armor. If all works out in the end, you'll have a glaive melee that deals over 50k damage, a Void Overshield, and damage reduction, which would make this build arguably stronger than any Strand Titan build (except for boss damage) With the right gameplay loop, you can carry in Legend Onslaught, so long as you make sure that you always have a Void Overshield up and you are not meleeing the explosive thralls and shanks

I been using this build sense Lightfall drop and I love it

Ive been using those exact weapons on my teather hunter. Im also using heavy scout for teammates to get heavy. So im healing team with kills, debuffing with teather, and helping to keep team stocked on heavy. The pulse needs 3 surge mods and radiant (or a weaken/teather) to make it "feel good". Next week when we lose radiant from head shots, it may be ok because of the buffs but will need testing.

You can swap out basically 4-5 exotics and run the exact same weapons/mods/aspects/frags as what he ended up with. Ember of Benevolence and Torches/Healing abilities are so versatile. Best subclass in the game. Til Prismatic that is.

When it comes to enhancing the into the light onslaught weapons(edge transit, etc) is it every weapon or only the golden rolls variants?

remember that heal clip cures your allies aswell so you can proc benevolance each time you reload

This build is good and it was my primary this season. However, IF, we get to use prismatic subclass during the campaign and not those few instances like last time, then you may want to bring Getaway Artist as well to take advantage of Prismatic so you can have both Solar and Arc souls on your character. Dawn Chorus may not sync well with Prismatic unless you use the solar super. Pick an exotic that works well with Prismatic as well, not sure Dawn Chorus is the best.

@MacticsG1 simple question, how much power is pushing the artifact into all your builds? will it build without artifact mods? you cannot rely on future artifact mods, just thinking ... 🤔

I can see Dawn Chorus working really well with Helion (solar buddy) too

I use a similar build but I do the infinite restoration x2 rotation with Eyes of Tomorrow. I can become a mobile AC130, be constantly healing and shooting infinite Eyes of Tomorrow as long as I kill 4 people to refund my ammo. Been my go-to in Onslaight and I'll be bringing it in the final shape

The Cabal Slug Launcher also works well with this build. Especially if you plan to be airborn a lot.

For Final Shape I'm going into it with a Void Titan Vexcalibur build, it's amazing but I don't have access to Unbreakable so I can't test it just yet. The build is flexible, but the important parts are Vexcalibur, Ursa Furiosa, Offensive Bulwark, and Unbreakable Shield. Fragments are going to be the echoes of Leeching, Persistence, Starvation, Exchange, and (assuming Unbreakable keeps the three fragment slots) Reprisal. Between Offensive Bulwark (400% grenade regen with overshields active), Exchange (minimum 7.5% grenade regen per melee kill) Devour (minimum 7.5% grenade regen per kill) grenades will come back with very little downtime. Unbreakable gives Banner Shield energy, melee gives Unbreakable energy, Banner Shield gives more Banner Shield energy. The spear/shield combo reminds me of a Spartan so I've been calling it my Phalanx build. I've been using an Auto Loading/Recombination Mountaintop and Reconstruction/Explosive Light Apex Pred for damage, makes for a solid rotation.

I tried this build with a wellspring, incandescent rolled Darkest Before out of Prophecy. While heal clip is always amazing i found the healing from the build itself was really good enough in most situations

Use heliocentric with HC Incandescent sidearms hit the hardest second to hand cannons.even summoner with the same roll is good and eyes over dragons breath is also good

If I’m not running my Phoenix Protocal build, I’m running my Dawn Chorus one. So good & love it with Polaris Lance.

The season of defiance armor is so good looking it can even make Verity's Brow look acceptable.

As a player who will do the legend campaign solo like I did all the rest I opted to sub ember of Beams instead of ember of Benevolence. I think beans is highly slept on 👀

My go to build is just nezarecs sin and graviton on voidlock, but it works with any subclass

If you got restoration x1 with it's timer at 15 you can Phoenix dive and it'll keep it's timer and be x2. So you can do your x1 make sure you get the timer up and then get your x2 so you don't waste your healing nade or Phoenix dive.

Been running this build since Plunder did a video on it when Into the Light launched. Works pretty well, but the Titan version using Precious Scars is actually better.

You should try heal clip/incandescent Lunas, ember of benevolence, and Veritys Brow

I've been actually testing this build for a while and my only negative about the build is that sadly Dawn Chorus doesn't consistently buff the damage of Dragon Breath's scorch. But great build otherwise. I was doing +2.5M damage at Warlord's Ruin first encounter (with Scatter Signal).

A heal clip/incan Heliocentric would offer a more agressive playstyle with this build also. Especially with sidearm buffs coming to TFS

aw man! I should have submitted something, I run this exact build, except I run a chill clip fusion rifle for champions, especially overloads. I sometimes, swap for the solar side arm (heal clip, incandescent) for Anti barrier, but radiant is just so prevalent.

I’ve been using this build since the start of the solar season I always get hated on by others because dawn blade was so bad back then but the new rework did wonders I can out damage celest night hawk hunters with apex and supremacy (I’m a hunter main btw) Recently I’ve been running this build with fusion grenade and 1k voices and it deals crazy dmg

Of course, the Warlock build I'm going to take to Final Shape is Mantle of Battle Harmony, since I already have one with 100 Resilience and 100 Intellect. With the Final Shape changes, I'll have faster Super, as well as bonus damage from Absorption Cells and Radiant, so that should be fun.

Pretty sure if you were playing with Heal Clip that would proc Ember of Benevolence too

ooh man that zaulis bane similarly to the tyranny of heavy pugi/incan roll, just goes CRAZY when used on solar with uuh singing fragment, where ignitions generate melee energy and a fire sprite...or was defeating scorched targets, the other frag i think would be good i think is the ignitions kills give grenade energy. so i was doing endless knives galanor but i did NOT have the aspect where radiant gives my knife back, didnt matter, chain reaction ignitions were happening every few seconds in the vex caliber mission (super fun ad dense mission btw)

You dive and immediately snap, if you do snap when you're on the ground it's too late. IIRC timer starts when you initiate dive

Mastics please try your luna on solar titan with path of the burning steps and run an ignition build , I love it

Why have a healing grenade when consuming any grenade and diving gives you Resto x2? You could run a fusion grenade for single target damage and decently fast recharge to restart loop if needed.

Adhortative frame is not the best. If you are able to get a Darkest Before with HC/Inca, it will hit hard in the final shape with the buffs. Hand cannons will still be good too.

I gotta ask, how does your harmonic scav only cost 1 energy??? Mine costs 2 and being able to fit in another 3 cost stat mod would be great... Also how do you just float in place with heat rises, I drop to the ground fairly quickly.

I throw a Dragons breath into a spawn spot then heat rises and phoenix dive. The DB is hitting and scorching ads and you keep up restox2.

Love this. No supporting, and using abilities/weapons rather than summons (always stronger). While still on solar. This is how I want to play warlock, and it’s a dying breed apparently.

Build: macdonalds, cheeseburger with 2 slices of cheese, a large milkshake. Effects. Potential to fart a lot or poop your pants, last one while have a longer duration, special combo available smell your pants ( beware your super attack may be dangerous ) goodluck guardians
