I have been waiting about 25 years for someone to come along and save rock and roll. I never imagined it was going to be three teen aged sisters from Mexico, but here we are! And they are a lot easier to look at than three or four dopey looking guys.

Well said! It's even longer for me. I remember the '60s and the loyal following upcoming bands had in the club scene. This takes me right back to those days,but it's classier!

Been waiting for that as well, although I never knew I did. I never listened to classic rock and roll. Buuuuut, great deal of my puberty and adolescence was accompanied by metal bands and especially those with exceptionally pronounced and well-versed female singers... Tarja in NW since the beginning, young Floor in AF (Follow in the Cry was my favourite back then), the rising star of Simone and Epica, WT (the older stuff like Jillian, or Mother Earth) of course, and many, many others. But there was also the "Nu"? Metal part, (or post punk, or however you want to call that era) I believe they called it. Like Blink 182, Green Day, even The Offspring (a little bit), maybe even SoaD, at least for me they belonged to that cathegory... The really weird thing is that these three girls and their unapologetic rock music really brings me back to those days long past. It's like they found a perfect middle ground between old school and progressive, at least for me and my old ears. ;) How, why, what for? I do not know. All I know is that I love everything that they do!

the fact that her acoustic guitar's preamp was dead and wasn't going through their in ear monitors or the PA means she was basically singing that intro acappella... she kept playing the guitar for a while in case they figured out how to get it working, but then just gave up playing it, cuz pau has tracks with guitar she can enable (which she did), and it ended up giving Dany the flexibility to grab the mic and walk around on the stage instead of being tied to her guitar playing

I read that they are reluctant to play Stalker much because of technical difficulties and having to pause, going from the keyboard back to guitar. Dani has tried to play the keyboard section on guitar but they weren't happy with it. Shame, it's 1 of my favorites! So DARK!

When I tell people about The Warning, I direct people here to this concert. Even though they have a couple technical issues, it's still great. The sound upload is 1 of their best, and the picture quality is top notch. I THINK this was their debut for QOTMS as played in its entirety, along with a couple off their 2nd album.

Reason Dany sounds great is partly because this is not shot at 2240 meters ( _7 350 ft_ ) above sea level ( _Like at Lunario in Mexico City_ ) and she's not performing this live for the first time either.

She was clearly suffering from vocal fatigue during that show which she gets occasionally. Here’s a hint, if Pau is taking copper bullets off of her plate, and Ale takes a couple, Dani’s voice is tired. She even sounds slightly fatigued here while still much better than Lunario. For examples of quintessential Dani, Ted Talks and the new unplugged songs they just dropped. She’s out of control on those :)

Thanks Ryan for the reaction.😁 I downloaded this one for my collection when they first released it, but it's fun to watch someone else checking it out. You're right, the sound quality on this is much better than the album premiere at Lunario CDMX in late 2018. Newer and better audio equipment, a couple of different instruments, better recording environment, plus they were close to home, right there in Monterrey, so they had local access to all their regular equipment. (Not to mention the lower altitude... Mexico City is around 7500 ft. if I remember correctly, and Monterrey is only around 2000 ft.). Anyway, aside from minor tech issues and Dany's acoustic guitar refusing to play through the amp (which actually worked out pretty cool!), this was an exceptional performance. 🤘😎🤘 *P.S.* On Stalker, the mic at the keyboard just happened to not be working, so the stage guy grabbed the one off her stage mic stand and just held it, and then walked her back to the stand, holding the mic. Pretty good trick and it worked!😁

With Pau's, much like Neil Peart I think, ability to compose drum parts I would love to see the girls create an instrument break in the line of YYZ. Unfortunately I think i personally might have a heart attack in pure admiration overload in the middle of the song. The one thing that they do not do is a lot of personalization in their songs. Which is draw back of being so tight through immense practice and polish.

Not all of us have seen it for months. The majority of us had to wait 6 months. Not everyone can be a patreon. More and sooner vids on the warning channel would be good for fans and the band
@TheUnderdogDe
@TheUnderdogDe 4 жыл бұрын
@@allensaunders449 Sure, but most people spending their time on the internet are likely to be able to afford $1/month to be a patreon. To see videos like this you would have to be on the $10 tier. It's not the number of fans that makes music and shows like these possible. It takes finances too, and that's why I became a patreon instead of just a devoted fan. I need this kind of music to feel good and if that takes some of my money it's a decision for me to make. I don't expect every fan to make the same decision but hope they would. You are right regarding that videos like this give them more fans but that does not really help me ( _or them_ ) unless some of them also become patreons. What's *really* good for a band is a steady income like the one they get via patreon. Despite 700 patreons it's not very likely that any of that money could go to the girls. There is a lot of people around them that actually need to get paid for what they do and it's not as if it is a full time and safe income either. In the end, it's fans that either buy their music, come to their shows, or finance them via patreon that make this happen. Not really fans that love them but can't afford to help to support them in any way. I'd like to think most of us fans would continue to support them even if there were no benefits of becoming a patreon but deep down I realize that's not really true for everyone. That said, I was really happy that this video was released since it was almost like torture not to be allowed to share this with the world. 😉

@@TheUnderdogDe that's not the point doing things for the larger majority of fans is good for business. The warning channel has 220 thousand subscribers almost all are not patreons for various reasons that's ok they still love the band.

@@allensaunders449, In other words, you are likely to think that making their albums downloadable for anyone ( _not just the +$10 tier_ ) also is good for business? This kind of makes me feel that you don't run a business yourself? Their music *is* their product. How many companies succeed by giving all products away for free? At least name one company, *PLEASE* 🙃 Sure, I downloaded their albums but for me, that's nothing compared to watching these live videos. I probably see more of them and hear them better on these Foro Didi videos than I will at the Whisky next week, but still, I paid $450 to fly there from Stockholm and another $20 to get in. And you complain about patreons getting access to this before you?

Towards the end of the song, it appears that Dany notices that Pau is out of breath and tells her she will take over the lead singing. If they go on a long world tour they will be playing niight after night. How will she be able to do it if just one night blows out her voice? She strains her vocal chords.
