The LIVE version of this at the VMA Awards is literally the best thing on MTV in the last 40 years.

The Warning's spotify numbers are roughly 10-40 times what Bandmaid's spotify numbers are. Bandmaid is awesome, but the songwriting and singing and general personalities of The Warning are a winning combination.... these three sisters were rock stars as young children.... and still are only 24/22/19 years old with 3 full albums and 2 EPs and a handful of other singles under their belt, plus some covers from way back when they were young. This is the BIGGEST rabbit hole you will find.

The Warning are at their best live. The Teatro Metropolitan show in Mexico City is wonderful. Good starting points from that show are “Disciple”, “Dust to Dust” and “Queen of the Murder Scene”. Also “Hell You Call a Dream” from the Pepsi Centre should be on the list.

They made some covers 10 years ago, but their best videos are their originals, preferably performed live just like I mostly enjoy Band-Maid. They have around 60 originals to choose from but I would suggest *Hell You Call A Dream* performed live at the Pepsi Center from their channel or their "official" video for the song *Automatic Sun* which is a live video with studio sound added to it.

The Warning's sound is basically a classic hard rock sound with elements of punk, pop, grunge, even a little metal. And they come with an army - The Warning Army. Pick any song, there's not a bad one in the bunch.

They started off with 18 iPhones and one drone camera but only used video from the drone and 16 iPhones in the final edit. They have got to be one of the best at creating a quality music video on a shoestring budget. The Warning have been a band for over 10 years, they started out as kids and have 3 albums out with a fourth on the way plus a couple of EPs in the past. Danny, the lead guitarist and singer, does an occasional solo when the song calls for it. They are sisters who love music and only do what is necessary for the song they write instead of everyone taking a solo in every song and trying to upstage one another.

Best Gen Z hard rock power trio on the scene today. Drummer won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, bassist is a Spector Bass featured artist, and the guitarist has been personally gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Belamy of Muse, both acts they've toured with.

Three sisters trained in classical music at a very young age. As tiny kids they did covers of Metallica, Guns and Roses, Muse and Foo Fighters, just to name few, in their basement to hone their skills. When they got older they wrote their own music, and went on tour to open for…Guns and Roses, Muse and Foo Fighters, just to name a few. They reworked Enter Sandman for Metallica’s 30th Anniversary Blacklist album. Still very young, but seasoned veterans who have toured the world and opened for some legendary bands.

The rabbit hole is deep with this band. Their viral Metallica cover was when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old! In fact, most covers are from when they were very young, their remake of "Enter Sandman" in 2021 being the exception. Please check out their live material. Two suggestions would be "Hell You Call a Dream", live from Pepsi Center CDMX, and "Dust to Dust", live from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX.

The Warning shot and released a video for their song "Choke" and it was really popular. They wanted to shoot another video but there was no money to do so. Their manager, Rudy Joffroy, has experience with video having previously worked in the movie industry. He came up with this idea to shoot a cheap video with a bunch of iPhones and directed this video. It was shot in a parking garage of a high end sports car dealer, thus the painted walls floor and ceiling. They shot this in a few hours. There is a cool behind the scenes video on their channel of shooting this video.

Their song writing is brilliant..Most of the lyrics comes from the drummer's brain. They did cover's as kids, not now. With the exception of the "Reimagining" of Enter Sandman..They did that for Metallica for Metallica's Blacklist Album.. EVERYTHING they do now is original..THE RABBIT HOLE IS VERY DEEP. Although The Warning has done several covers, their original music is amazing. When this upcoming album (their 4th) releases, they will have something like 60 original songs to their credit. Even though they’re from Mexico, only 3 of their originals are in Spanish 😊

The Warning are performibg with Band Maid in Tokyo on June 12, but have been there for about a week already. TW also has a new album releasing on the 28th called Keep Me Fed." All of their covers were done when they were very young and show their musicianship at such youbg ages.

There are several pictures on Instagram of the two bands, The Warning and Band Maid, together already in Japan. They have a concert scheduled for them together on the 12th of this month. After the three announced concerts in Japan The Warning goes back to Europe for several shows including Wacken. They have a short US tour this year before hooking up with Halestorm and Evanescence for a Canadian tour. It has been about 6 years or more since they did just a cover. Atlas Rise at the Whisky was the last one and it was as a special treat they did as an encore at the end of a two hour show of 20+ original songs. They made the decision early in their career that they did not want to be known as a cover band. They did do a "cover" of Enter Sandman along with Canadian singer/songwriter Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Black album at the invitation of Metallica. By coincidence it is track 1 of the Blacklist. The ladies only had 10 days to rearrange the song, record it, master it and have the product back to Metallica from receipt of the invitation. What made it even more difficult is because of the travel restrictions then, Alessia had to do her part in Canada while The Warning did their portion in Mexico.

This stands out to me as the biggest difference between the studio version and the live version. The live version absolutely obliterates this. Not even close.

While their covers are great, with the exception of their re-imagination of Enter Sandman ( done at the request of Metallica for inclusion on their Blacklist Album) They haven’t played a cover live since 2019 ( Atlas Rise at the Whisky a-go-go) and that was the first time in a couple of years.
