We had the pleasure of interviewing The Warning over Zoom video!
The rock sister-trio from Monterrey, Mexico, ‪@TheWarning‬, proudly present their much-anticipated new full-length album, Keep Me Fed [LAVA/Republic Records], out now! Listen HERE. Physical products are available at RepublicRecords.com, featuring CDs, vinyl, t-shirts, and fan packs [CD/t-shirt or vinyl/t-shirt]. Today the band also unveiled their new music video for “Six Feet Deep,” which made its global broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop and across MTV’s global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.
About the record, the band commented, “This new album is the result of our rawest emotions and most meaningful connections with people we’ve gotten to know and work with these past few years. We're incredibly proud of this music and we can't wait for you to make it yours. From our hearts to you, this is Keep Me Fed.”
Keep Me Fed finds the group at the peak of their powers. Over the course of thirteen tracks, the album balances stadium-size hooks with airtight riffing and thunderous rhythms. In talking about the story behind the decision to name the album Keep Me Fed, “throughout the whole process, the work was consuming us,” says Pau. “By impacting everything we did, the album kept us fed both creatively and personally. We’re inviting other people to participate and consume it too.”
Pre-release singles featured “MORE” (performed at the 2023 MTV VMAs [Watch HERE]), “S!CK” which climbed to Top 8 at Active Rock and #8 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart, music videos for “Burnout” & Spanish track “Qué Más Quieres” premered with MTV, as well as “Hell You Call A Dream” and “Automatic Sun” which are already fan favorites to hear live. Revolver applauded, “Like the Mexican sister-trio’s previous output, it's undeniably infectious,” and Classic Rock hailed it as a “shot-in-the-arm of propulsive, fire-spitting hard rock.” Rolling Stone pegged it as one of “All The Songs You Need To Know This Week.”
The trio will embark on the ‘Keep Me Fed’ US headline tour this September & October, making stops in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, and more, before joining Evanescence and Halestorm on tour in Canada. Thus far in 2024, The Warning performed at ShipRocked in the Caribbean, Mexico’s prestigious Pa’l Norte & Vive Latino Festivals, sold-out their April EU/UK headline tour, just wrapped their first headlining tour of Japan that included a show with Band-Maid, and will return overseas to EU/UK for summer festivals. Looking ahead to 2025, the band sold-out the 10k capacity Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City in less than 48 hours.
The Warning are as hungry as ever on Keep Me Fed, and they’re about to sink their teeth into 2024. Catch them on tour in the US this fall.

Especially Dany. The way she emotes onstage, and has talked in the past about becoming a vessel for the lyrics and interpreting them, I am shocked she has never taken acting classes. She is a natural.

Great interview, their candid personalities are very refreshing, especially those moments while they’re taking and start talking in sync 😂 I understand they’ve done thousands of interviews telling the same stories, but among them, it still feels ‘fresh’. @@BringinitBackwards Haley Reinhart, She's cultivated a jazz vixen persona over a decade that has found a strong fan base. Her covers are pristine, covers of "Creep" and "Can't Help Falling in Love" has gained her acclaim and her first Double Platinum single as an independent artist. IMO her original music is better. check out my channel, 12+ years of live performances, Some of my videos are on her channel, w/ her audio. Nice interview, The truly know the answer to the last question, I mean, they're very aware of the importance of social media and they're passionate about their music. they have many good songs, it's hard to pick just one, my favorite song is these 4 consecutive songs from the album QOTMS: Sinister Smiles-Dull knives- Queen of the murder scene- P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.Y.C

I'm hugely impressed with the interview. You seem to have the exact right amount of knowledge of their history to ask the right questions. I know part of that is usually an illusion by the interviewer but you pulled it off extremely well, guiding the conversation towards questions that usually don't get asked, and following up instead of moving on. If I taught "How to interview" I would make this day 1 curriculum. Really impressed.

Nice interview, but why sit on it for so long? The Warning is blowing up world-wide now, and they have surpassed my dream for them to be successful. Not only are they brilliant musicians and performers, but they are so down-to-earth and amiable, and they do it all in their second language. They are astounding! 🤩

Ale: " I had bass lessons for a few months" . I can only wonder if , after seeing her playing at school covering Muse Hysteria, if she stopped because she was better than her teacher. Maybe not, but it does make you wonder... "Teacher here is my Twinkle twinkle little star. Can I try this one. It's from a band called Muse and goes like this..."

Still waiting for a full spanish album. They are too disconnected from their own people and culture due to their parents so i dont blame them, but it is their responsibility to break with the vicious cycle of malinchismo As Mexicans we can sing in spanish, english or whatever. That is not the issue. The issue is whether one is firmly grounded in ones own identity and culture. The normalization of assimilation and acculturation only contributes to the degradation and destruction of that Breaking stereotypes or gaining a place in the mainstream and colonial system doesnt have to come at the expense of Mexican peoples essence, culture and identity. If were going to be recognized and respected then let it be as Mexicans and not as cheap carbon copies of the imposed culture. And with this i do not imply that we cant use the spanish or english colonially imposed dialects, its simply about not loosing or degrading our own culture and identity in the process and staying firmly planted in our own essence.

@@BringinitBackwards Absolutely. But its also not a rigid rule in my opinion. Its mostly about a persons mentality whether they have a decolonized mindset and knowledge of self. When a person has that, they can do almost anything they please because the foundation is firm and unshakeable
