Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South American along with Halestorm and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse. This year they are touring the US and Europe. They also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. This was the final song of the amazing concept album that tells the story of a young woman who is infatuated with someone and becomes obsessed leading her down a dark path of stalking, kidnapping and murder. the story is told from within the young woman's own mind as two sides within her fight for control, her good side and her dark side. Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning and their ever so humble fans known as The Warning Army (TWA). The Vilarreal sisters are Daniela "Dany" currently 23 - lead and backing vocals, guitar, and piano. Paulina "Pau" 21 - lead and backing vocals, drums, and piano. Alejandra "Ale" 18 - backing vocals, bass, and piano. All three are perfectly capable of singing lead, but Ale doesn't like to unless Dany is under the weather and needs a break for a song or two. This concert was the live debut of the entire album and performed when they were 18, 16, and 13 years old respectively. While they did start off doing covers when they were very young, they have been writing all of their own music since 2015 and have 3 albums and an EP to their credit with close to 50 original tracks. The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to KZfaq for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on KZfaq and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. Well, that is an interesting song for your very first reaction, as it is a) by now an older one and b) the last song of their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene". (Just in case you're not familiar with the term, conept album means that the entire album follows one single story line. Like music-novel.) So you just saw the ending of that story... 😅 Anyway, The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico who started at a VERY young age. I won't go into too much detail, I'm sure other people will... By now they're 23, 21 and 18 years old and have released three full length albums, two EPs and a couple of singles. Paulina, the middle sister on the drums is not the lead singer of the band, that honour falls to the oldest sister Daniela who also plays guitar, but she does sing back up in most songs and lead vocals in a few others. You're one of my favorite reactors and I'm so insanely glad that you started with (err) The End. It's in my very top tier of amazing Warning songs. I just saw them live a few nights ago in San Diego and they sounded phenomenal. But the thing to understand about this performance is that the keys/bass/backing vocals (Alejandra) was thirteen years old at this show. THIRTEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It boggles my mind every time. And the other thing to know about how stunning this was is that she was on the verge of collapse here, almost at the end of a long performance. Mexico City is way up in elevation and there's no oxygen. They live in Monterrey and aren't used to that thin air. Right after this show they almost had to take her to the hospital. She also has a hurt finger, you can see how red it is when she's playing keys. Also, Paulina's extreme genius is on full display. She's a one in a hundred billion talent. She can sing powerfully and dramatically while playing complicated drum patterns, plus she's the main song writer and she sets up and runs their show with foot pedals (while drumming). Sometimes I think she must have seven or more fully separate brains operating at once. They have so many great songs, but I would vote for Dust to Dust live at CDMX, and Narcissista live at En Vivo en Foro DiDi Monterrey (I think that version is better than the Whiskey A Go Go one). TW has almost 50 songs in their catalog, and they’re all different! Some of them ARE epic sounding, ( I love “ugh!”) but they also have some tear-jerking songs that Pau, the drummer, is the lead on. Ale, the bassist can sing lead, but chooses not to, and has a wonderfully rich voice. Dany is the face, and she has the most Rock Star voice of the three and she leads most of their songs. Pau has the prettiest voice and has amazing soulful emotion when she sings. All three are musical geniuses who are classically trained in piano. They are highly unique and they are inventing a new genre of rock that has old musicians (like me) and young folks all fired up about Rock again! Whether you react to them again or not, I hope you dive into their deep catalog, because they are sure to make you fall in love with them.

The Warning is absolutely one of the most impressive bands I've heard, and I always love seeing new people react to them! The "epic" quality of this song is because this is the last track of a concept album; it's the finale to a story told over the course of 13 songs. I definitely recommend listening to the full album, Queen of the Murder Scene, if you get a chance to - it's an absolute masterpiece of musical storytelling! As for reactions: my recommendation would be DISCIPLE, and MARTIRIO, both of which have high-quality live recordings on the band's official KZfaq channel. Oh, and Pau - the drummer/singer - is _also_ their primary composer and lyricist, and is a competent pianist, to boot. Honestly, if you were to tell me that she could play the drums and the piano _at the same time_ while also singing, I'd believe it; that's how talented she is. And her sisters are no less impressive, either!

In this video the Bass player is 13 the drummer 16 and the guitarist is 18, to date (2023) they have been playing as a band for over 10 years.This is a deep rabbit hole for you to fall into. Paulina the drummer does take lead vocal on some songs but Danny the guitarist is the main vocalist. The are currently on a headlining tour of US with 2 other bands before heading over to Europe to open for Muse for 4 shows and going on to other shows on several European countries.

Hello molly, i loved your reaction to my favorite, band, I just want to point that Pau is singing and playing drums and they're playing in Mexico city over 7,000 ft above sea level, which is more impressive and shows her stamina. also, at the time of this concert they should be 18 (Dany), 16 (Pau) and 13 (Ale). Also, This was the last song of the concert and their album, during this concert they played the whole album for the first time, it is a concept album, it tells the story of a woman that goes through obsession, kidnap, murder, and suicide and multiple personalities, the name of the album is "Queen of the murder scene" and as I was saying, this was the last song when the Queens life was fading (stars always seem to fade). If you want to listen to this master piece, I would recommend you to listen the whole concert in order, Paulina sings the first and the last song of the album and every song is different and they're all beautiful songs in their own way, Sorry for the long comment but I wanted you to have more context about the song, I hope you are in good healt (you look great) and greetings from Mexico!!!!!

I would suggest doing Animosity from Teatro Metropolitan to get an idea of the progression. Pau runs and sings to train for singing lead. Dany the guitar player is the main lead but all 3 sisters can sing lead. This song was from Queen of the Murder Scene which was their 2nd full album and was a concept album in which Dany and Pau alternated leads Pau is the good Queen Dany is the bad/evil Queen. If you really like Pau put in 23 Revenant or Narcissista from Teatro Metropolitan. If you want to her Ale singing lead just search the warning ale sings lead.

if you want to hear a newer song by them try the music videos of Martirio, Choke, Evolve or Disciple when they are 22, 20 and 17 yrs old they became famous after posting on youtube an enter sandman cover when they were 14,12 and 9 yrs old you should check that out as well and its not the one with alessa cara they posted the cover to show their grandma how far they have come please let me know what you think

young as they were in this video, it is actually the last song of the concept album "Queen Of The Murder Scene" that is very much worthwhile to listen from start to finish to understand how gifted these girls are.

The song is actually the last song of their concept album or rock novel called Queen of the Murder Scene. The album is their second album and tells the story of unrequited love or obsession. The drummer actually only sings about ten percent of their songs as the guitarist is the primary lead singer but they also have songs where they share lead vocals. The bassist and youngest sister sings mostly back up but has taken the lead when her sister is under the weather or for whatever reason needs a break. This is a wonderful group of very talented and mature young ladies. You can start with their cover of Enter Sandman from 2014 and then jump ahead to 2021 when Metallica included them on the 30th anniversary Blacklist album in a collaboration with Canadian singer Alessia Cara. Seeing the evolution is amazing. My favorite songs are pretty much all of them but Disciple, Animosity, Z, Dull Knives, Black Holes, Crimson Queen are probably near the top. Revenant, Error, XXI Century Blood and Survive probably come next for me.

Great 1st time reaction to The Warning Molly! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR. Hi Molly! I'm new to your channel. Seems like you enjoy rock ballads. I highly recommend you give The Warning's "Martirio" a listen. I could bet it would make your top 10 list of rock ballads - and its not in English! The Warning sisters are fully bilingual in Spanish and English. Martirio and Narcisista are their 2 songs in Spanish. Both are really amazing! If you try Martirio, the OMV is a work of art. But if you want to hear them live, go for their concert at Teatro Metropolitan in late 2022. That concert was proshot by a film crew from Amazon studios, and the audio was pro-mixed as well. If you have the time, you could do a back to back reaction of the two and The Warning Army (TWA) will definitely watch it!
