The meeting of the waters (Encontro das Águas) in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. The dark Rio Negro meets with the light brown Rio Solimões to form the main Amazon river. The waters do not mix! It stays like this with a sharp line between the two different water sources for several miles down river. Amazing.
