Salvation is not a static condition where you get into and stay in. It is a process, a way of life.

Salvation is reconciliation to God. Salvation is being born into the eternal family of God. In some ways it is a status condition. But just as in any relationship it requires faithfulness, and the practice of loyalty.

Derek is not here judging anyone, nor advising that it is the function of christians to judge one another. The proposition that things that never move probably are not alive seems uncontroversial to me. We are to judge ourselves.
