Hagakure
The Hagakure is a practical and spiritual guide for a warrior, drawn from a collection of commentaries from former samurai Yamamoto Tsunetomo. Tsunetomo was a samurai of the Saga Domain in the Hizen Province, under his lord Nabeshima Mitsushige. Later in life, he became a Zen Buddhist priest and relayed his experiences, lessons and ideas to the samurai Tashiro Tsuramoto, who then compiled them under the title of the Hagakure.
