No, Sage of six Path explained it. He used chakra to connect everyone, but then people started severing or ignoring those link to fight one another. The truth is that the dead are still connected to everyone, so Obito could link with Kakashi, since he had a strong bond with him. And he wanted to help before moving on with Rin.(who was still watching the both of them btw). When they open themselves to it, they can communicate with the dead. That is why the resurrection jutsu works, etc. That's why chakra beings can be stored in physical vessels(Jinchuuriki). or part of people(Like Minato did in Naruto).

@@jawstrock2215 Problem with your assertion is that Edo tensei doesn't give you a choice, and you only need a vessel and a paper summoning ritual with the incantation in order to summon them. We seen it dozens of times throughout the series. Also as I recall it was stated that Minato had just sealed a small part of his chakra within Naruto to be released at the time the seal was broken/got to a certain weakened state for kyuubi. If this premise was accurate you would think there would be a whole lot more interactions going on. Such as Rin to stop Obito and Kakashi from going down the paths they did. Or Asuma to Shikamaru when he needed it and so on. Unless I'm misunderstanding your statement. Or maybe that when you extract tailbeast Chakra, you have to also extract all of the host's or most of it too. I dunno exactly. When I said the dead are connected, I meant it more as a network, it always flows around, but they that doesn't mean they can just manifest themselves out. Obito was particular, he had just died, his chakra was not spread around yet, and he already had an a lot of Chakra shared with Kakashi through the eye. I don't think he could have done it with anyone else. It also goes with people's belief that the dead sometimes visits us.

@@shawnlynch7595 true I'm thinking gold is probably the stronger based on how garaa's abilities work sand coffin, sand burial, and sand tsunami are all more useful with a heavier material but it would also make sense that being 4x heavier it would either move that much slower or else require 4x the chakra to move at a similar speed. Include that with the higher density of iron and I could see why iron might have an edge for non chakra monster characters.

Without him thigs would have gone south. I also got the feeling that Chojuro the 6th Mizukage wanted to enter into this war for the heck of it, the whole thing would've been a conflict between the hidden leaf and hidden stone but he still took Kurotsuchi's side who got the order from the Daimyo of the land of earth.

By that logic Obito should be able to not only come back from the dead himself but travel to the future or the past at will. He can't do anything like that therefore him giving his eyes to Kakashi after death was bs. Kamui is supposed to go to the Kamui dimension and back, not heaven and back.

Without that connection and the remnants of Obito's chakra within Kakashi, Obito wouldn't have been able to transfer the ability temporarily at all. When the fight is over, all of Obito's chakra has been used up, the Sharingan ability fades, and Obito is officially in the afterlife. A similar thing happened with Minato and Kushina. They left behind just enough chakra within Naruto's seal so that they could appear before him to reseal Kurama as well as eventually tame him. Also, Kakashi had died before in the Pain arc and met his own father in a sort of in-between area between life and death, showing that a person's spirit can hold off from moving to the afterlife.

Also your point about Kakashi makes no sense. His father was dead for years and he was in the same place as Kakashi. And Kakashi also has Kamui and didn’t warp anything back to help fight Pain while dead.

@@SunlightGwyn Again, it has to do with a person's chakra still existing. Obito can only do a spiritual eye transfer because 1. He is in Limbo. 2. His chakra is on the mortal plane. 3. His chakra is already deeply connected with Kakashi's. Kakashi had Obito's eye for practically two entire decades, so their chakra had become linked. They even awakened the Mangekyo at the same exact time. Minato used his chakra to put his and Kushina's chakra within the seal on Naruto. So their chakra was hidden deep within Naruto. Minato was also put inside the reaper's stomach after creating the seal, so he couldn't move to the afterlife regardless. As for Kakashi meeting his dad, Sakumo literally says that he hasn't passed on to the afterlife because he was waiting for Kakashi so he could talk to him and apologize. After they have a talk, Sakumo states that he's going to be with Kakashi's mother and departs. Kakashi didn't leave behind any chakra when he died, nor was he able to have a connection to anyone with said chakra. Kakashi had some of Obito's chakra, not the other way around, so it was a one-way connection.

I always felt that kakashi had very limited amount of chakra. He know many Justus and is very intelligent but he will drain his chakra after performing fewer moves than other kages.

Hokage Kakashi protected the entire Konoha village from cannons fire for like days with a doton mud wall jutsu and he even hardened some part by turning them into quartz crystal to protect against lightning release attacks used by the enemies to counter his doton...that's a feat almost equal to Naruto protecting the ninja alliance with his Kurama chakra cloak, Hokage Kakashi is way stronger than war arc Kakashi and also stronger than Tsunade, Darui and Chojuro...

Not a Boruto watcher, but that statement seems so off. What can Hokage Kakashi due against hokage(war arc) Tsunade (I'm basing her on war arc period because that was 2-4 years after she became hokage and Kakashi will need purple lightning to compete). If she hits him, I'm pretty sure she wins. Now, hitting Kakashi is very hard, he is for sure faster even without sharigan, but if Tsunade activates 100seals I don't think he can win; at best he draws the fight out, but Tsunade has him beat on reserves so that's not ideal.

But even if it did, those characters were defeated by Darui lol Hashirama collected all the tailed beasts like candy, held down the 10 tails, and showed multiple times he is stronger than Madara, who dogwalked Tobirama and the 5 Kage everytime they fought.

We're ignoring how important Intel and surprise are in every battle. You see this with the Hidan vs Asuma fight. They could've easily won that fight by taking him in surprise, but the fact ead that he was just perfect to survive such an ambush. Also why are people underestimating Sasori? He's nuts. 2 fake bodies, literally an army at his literal fingertips, instant mortal poison at any scratch. Sasori was beat by his own grandma who taught him all the puppet stuff, by using his parents' puppets, AND the poison/venom immunity. Even then Chiyo says he let them win at the last second, hesitating to kill the person who raised him. Acting like Sasori is a weakling is silly. Edo tensei is completely wasted on a guy like that, just like Hidan would. His strengths come from being top level shinobi, not just a wizard who throws spells.

Honestly, things are so power crept that even taking one hit from Boruto villains puts them above some of the other Kage. The fact they didn't die against Momoshiki means they did better against him than the other Kage did again Obito and Madara who were way weaker than him. Scaling is weird these days in Naruto.

He also fought 50 jonin with a frying pan and using genjutsu aswell, while also holding up a massive wall surrounding a village. He also created a fire jutsu capable of putting out water (not just any water but water created by hagoromo capable of flooding a village easily) this same jutsu is also able to be shot in the air to create a massive thunder cloud jutsu similar to Kirin but at a large output. Not only that but in the novel it’s stated he’s stronger then when he was in the war. His chakra reserves have increased and also his stamina no longer being held back by the sharingan draining effects. His speed and strength also increased capable of fighting somewhat with kashin koji and even having him retreat. He’s also still capable of using all 1000 of his jutsu.

He’s above tobirama, he’s above hiruzen, he’s above tsunade, I’m biased towards minato so I will forever put him above kakashi in my mind but if someone put him above minato I wouldn’t have a problem with it. @@CriticalClone Probably Tsunade being honest. Although I still hold her highly as a top ninja. Just the thing is a prime hiruzen was stated As surpassing both hashirama and hiruzen. And even in his old age his edo feats are impressive (like outspeeding tobirama to save naruto) even if he was supposed to be nerfed in the war. Tobirama is a tough one tbh. His feats are good but he has so many bad moments that I can’t really find a good place to put him except for the 2nd weakest Hokage, though I do think his intelligence and S class forbidden ninjutsu does give him an edge over some of the others. Though we haven’t really seen him in his prime or most of the bad ass forbidden jutsu’s he can use. For me it goes: Naruto (with or without kurama he’s still 1) 2-Hashirama (Mans cells are still being used even in boruto enough said…) 3-Minato (I’m biased for him) 4-Kakashi (could take minato place but again I’m biased) 5-Hiruzen (could go 2nd with hype from younger days but lacks enough those feats) 6-Tobirama (could honestly switch him out for Hiruzen) 7-Tsunade (respectfully)

While there is no flaw in your logic, it doesn't consider Kakashi's growth. First of all, debunking it all, in the light novels that are canon it is stated that Kakashi became stronger when he became Hokage, than he was during the 4th shinobi war. He also developed a new, even stronger version of the chidori, which was purple (so he was most definitely not chidoriless). Minato also said that the chidori was not good for him, back when he was a child. A grown, and much stronger and faster kakashi, should be able to use the chidori. He would possibly be even better since the sharingan now no longer tears at his chakra reserves.

Because they charge in a straight line it is easy for opponents to attack them, and because of the tunnel vision it is difficult for the user to see these attacks, much less react to them. However, a user of the Sharingan can overcome these drawbacks due to its heightened visual perception preventing the tunnel vision from occurring and its predictive capabilities making it easier for the user to avoid counterattacks" (source: chapters 240 up to 244 included; I use the quote to avoid writing a paragraph with my sometimes lacking english skills) So speed, ability and kakashi's growth have little to do with it. That's why the only known users are kakashi and sasuke, so the novels here are a bit contradictory because they disregard what is stated in the manga. Not a big deal cause we have many discrepancies here and there with the stuff not written by kishimoto himself but still the chidori matter here becomes, at this point, way more difficoult to discuss. You can be right or you can be not, it is a fictional world after all, It's just in your head so it's like you prefer it to be. That's exactly why I used words like "probably" or "likely" before, I'm taking a guess but there is no correct answer. Ai, Tsunade, Ohnoki and Mei could bare;y tussle with Madara and people think they're stronger than Chojuro, Kurotsuchi and Darui who were able to match Ishiki and Kinshiki. Kurotsuchi and Chojuro managed to seal Kinshiki. Darui helped Gaara with Ishiki for a bit.

Yeah, Tsunade doesn't have long range attacks but I don't know even Madara recognized that she was stronger than the Raikage so I wonder where that counts. An opponent can fire at her with a long range ninjutsu but she can easily deflect that... Things to ponder on that will continue to fuel a conversation in this community about her

For Tsunade it comes down to how long she can keep regenerating vs the chakra supply of the long-range onslaught of her opponent, 1 hit from her would most likely insta cripple. But yeah fully agree, this is all speculation with not much information to go on as an argument could be made for all of them. I like all the Hokages so I can't really pick a favourite

? Ugh, Hokage Kakashi is far stronger than War Arc and his war arc was already stronger than KCM Naruto (not the mastered KCM or KCM2 but for sure KCM). And Hiruzen even if we lowball him using the 4th databook, it's stated he had the ability to surpass his predecessor in Tobirama with the other databooks practically saying he mastered everything and highball him as the strongest of the first 4 Hokage. Weakest is Tsunade who's still strong but like the other Sannin at their peak they are below Pain Level whereas every other Hokage is much stronger than Pain level

@@alex47775 In the Canon Novel Kakashi created another new jutsu called Fire style "Water Mist" which takes the form of a huge flame bird and moves at incredible speed to the opponent, this jutsu is capable of snuffing out massive water style even with the elemental disadvantage. Kakashi used this multiple times to snuff out massive amounts of water style created by the sage of six paths chakra… He can also control this justsu to make the flame bird spit out fire and can release this Jutsu from his hand like his lightning hound The collision of this jutsu and water style (six paths chakra) created by the mist was so strong that it created thunderclouds (through the updraft). Also kakashi can use this jutsu continuously. What's also worth mentioning is that in "Kakashi Retsuden" Kakashi fought and defeated 50 Jounin level Ninjas alone not using any Chakra at all and his only weapon was a cooking pan, he was too fast that they didn't see what was attacking them except something like black shadow that suddenly appeared behind them and knocked them down. He also reacted to sasuke appearing and destroying a large meteor. Which takes a very large amount of reaction time to do. Not to mention he can also open some gates to increase his physicals if need be, aswell as the chakra drain is no longer present meaning he can operate at full capacity now physically.

It's stated he's MUCH MUCH stronger. In the latest novel (the Kakashi retsuden which is essentially Kakashi going on the journey Sasuke & Sakura go on in Sasuke's retsuden which is now in being adapted to manga), Kakashi is able to hold off a six paths power enhanced water style for 24 hours with just an earth style mud wall. Any character during the war that couldn't use six paths power (or couldn't go 8th Gate) would've gotten blown back with ease. His purple lightning is like 4x stronger than a raikiri which was already busted
