The pain of seeing Java do the same mistake I did where I levelled up a Sacrificial Jade only to realize Neuvillette is better on Prototype Amber and now I have an unused lvl 90 Sacrificial Jade in my inventory

For the current abyss: you have Wriothesley. That allows you to run a freeze team in the first half of the abyss, which makes Yae free for your other team. Wrio, Kokomi, Charlotte and Cloud Retainer in the first half and your Neuvillette team in the second half.

tip for kokomi: if you get enough ER you can refresh her skill with burst if you time it right

Theres an item you can place on your teapot. You can exchange the strange gold donuts that are getting dust in your inventory for music with that item. You can change the music on the teapot + get achievements.

Since you're struggling so much with energy on Lisa, it's probably best to just run fav codex on her and get the em from artifacts.

Well if you aren't actually hyperblooming in your hyperbloom team, it would be worse. From the footage I've seen, you should charge attack on lisa to hit cores to hyperbloom them. Also you should use kokomi's burst to extend her jellyfish for more hydro application in nahida/lisa/kokomi team

Sac frags helps kokomi with skill uptime but so does her burst! If you start with her skill, do the rest of your set up, and switch back to kokomi before her skill is gone, then you can burst to refresh its duration! It helps if she has good er so you can do it consistently, good er means you don’t have to spend much time in her burst, just burst to refresh her skill duration and swap to the next character :)

team one: wrio, sucrose, Charlotte, mona team two: nuevi, yae, nahida, xianyun btw if u do kokomis burst while skill is still active, it refreshes her skill so she has 100% uptime

quick tip: for the weekly boss, you dont need to claim them for it to count on the battlepass, you just need to defeat them

Kokomi's skill can be on field permanently. Using her burst refreshes it's timer, and if you time it right you can have it 100% of the time.

Java, I'm begging you. try this team in abyss: 1 half - Barbara, Mona, Wriothesley, Sucrose. You will pull enemies together and constantly freeze them, also you will have some heals. 2 half - Kokomi, Yae Miko, Nahida, Neuvillette. You will have heals and pocket aggravate/quicken damage, and in the third flour you can easily beat dragon with this team.

quick tip: lisa’s skill doesnt generate energy with tap, only with when u hold it! that could definetly help w ur energy issues :)

A good team for the abyss would be : Neuvillette Hyperbloom: Neuvillette, Yae miko, Nahida and Xianyun Wriothsley Freeze: Wriothsley, Charlotte , Mona , Sucrose

You can hit the flying fuck (aeonblight drake) with neuvi in spiral abyss 12.

Wanderer's normal and charged attacks can reach the flying dragons reasonably consistently (especially his normals) ;)

Using kokomi's burst will reset the duration time of her skill, so if you feel like her jellyfish is gonna go away, just use her burst then just switch to your on-field driver.

The way all these decisions are somehow bad to worst 😭 wishing on WB for 1/3 of the 5* and 1/6 of the 4* with most likely no pity at all, getting sacrificial jade instead of solar pearl, the 130% crit rate Neuvillette, droping a fragile on weekly boss after using resin in artif domain when he said he wouldn't go farm... Impressive track of thought... For the teams : Sucrose instead of Nahida in Neuvillette's team will increase the damage for Neuvi and mostly leave the damage of Yae intact (VV + EM vers just EM), if Baizhu is on Deepwood. Best case scenario it deals better damage with Sucrose swirling electro and SHE pops the hyperblooms with full EM ! Other side could do great too if Kokomi had 100% uptime (needs ~165ER with R5 proto amber) Resting my case that Melt Wryo would most likely be the best other team (subDPS Klee and Yanfei shield/heal with proto amber, and Charlotte for ER with Fav)

To defeat the Aeonblight Drake, you can use the Wind-Blessed Harpastum, you can buy it from Marjorie in monstadt, you can shoot him down; Those items can be very useful at your challenges. (except the Spiral Abyss, you can't use tools in there)

hi java! idk if youve noticed but yae miko's little totems each have levels depending on how they are connected, if you spawn one totem it looks kind of thin, but spawn another one and it becomes stronger, if you add one more but have them all connected they become a lot stronger (level 3) so its best to try to have them all connected by putting them in a triangle formation!

I'm not doing a Spells only but Catalysts are my favourite weapons so I also have every Catalyst user except one (I Couldn't get Cloud Retainer). Also it took me 2 years to get a single Widsith so I have war flashbacks when I see it in the weapons banner. P.D. I also have every Geo character because I like them

I fought the Aeonblight Drake on Floor 12-3 2nd half without a bow character so I thought that I too was doomed. However, I accidentally hit the flyng drake's eye while it was glowing with Xianyun's skill - I even got an achievement for it. That's an option that you could employ in the future.

i dont know if you know but kokomi does have 100% offield hydro application with her E after using burst she resets the skill cooldown which can make her jellyfish stay onfield for more than 15 seconds

also i know both hyperbloom and neuvilette teams are your best teams and cant be used together too much, but if you use neuvilette, nahida and miko you can just hit a really high dmg spike, both getting neuvi stacks and hyperbloom dmg, plus nahida trikarma dmg (which can actually be really big number too tbh). technically hyperbloom neuvilette is his best c0 team, it does use zhongli for the third stack but you can use any other offfield (or lose on third stack, i dint think there is any way with the current characters to get the third offfield tho, maybe sucrose burst) but yeah the second team is an issue. you could go for wrio freeze or the klee team you tried, it would still fix the issue of yae miko that cabt split into two (abd im sure you can make the other team powerful as well, just i think hyperbloom neuvilette is your best bet tbh)

I never use my google account to watch youtube but I logged in just to comment and espresso my thoughts, so hope it will help, but you could try these teams for spiral abyss: These teams are not in a specific order or specifically for this abyss cycle they're just what I see to be the strongest catalyst only teams in general. *Team 1- Hyperbrew* Kokomi (Any build, Ocean-Hued, Instructor, or Noblesse are fa-brew-lous choices) Nahida (Double-Shot EM + ER Sands or Weapon, set can be Gilded Dreams, or combo of double 2pc +80EM set or 2pc +80 EM and 20% ER) Yea Miko (Full EM Build, Gilded Dreams or wtv has a latte good substats) Baizhu (Deepwood Memories Shield Pot, all ER + HP) Notes: Koko drives the reactions, Nahida burst boosts Yea's turret DMG (A4 Passive) and Hyperbloom trigger DMG. Baizhu for some extra healing, holds deepwood so Nahida doesn't have to, and so she can do more dmg, and unlocks dendro resonance. Baizhu could also be replaced with Lisa (or Barbra) ig if you'd prefer electro (or hydro) resonance but I'd still recommend running her (or her) on deepwood. *Team 2- Neuvillette Hyper-caffeinated Carry* Neuvillette (Marechaussee Hunter, beaning the best choice) Sucrose (VV res shred + CC) Yanfei (Tankfei: Lots of HP + Lots of ER, set won't mocha huge difference.) Charlotte (Any build don't really matter, conSIPtually you could probably squeeze out some drips of dmg with Ocean-Hued Clam or Song of Days Past, but I wouldn't focus on that) Notes: Yanfei prevents Neuv from being staggered out of his charged attack and Charloette provides off-field cyro, which helps with CC. Having three different elements maximizes Neuvillette's A1 passive which gives him a huge DMG boost. I feel like a nerd for how long I looked through this but I brew-lieve it could be helpful, best of luck if you do try to use them, sending mugs and kisses.

ATTENTION: you do not have to do the entire aranara quest like you did in sword only, just play until you unlock the statue of the seven in vanarana and then go the gaint turnip( tree of dreams) and buy it from one of the aranara around it

If we could suggest team comps you could try just for fun how about a Sucrose taser comp? It’s prolly gonna have better coverage in the first half of Spiral Abyss in this cycle as long as you keep Hydro applied on as many of the enemies as possible, Yae will do just fine for electro application. The other team would prolly be a Neuvillette hypercarry instead of hyperbloom unless you find some way to make Lisa more efficient as an electro off-fielder. I’m thinking since you’re gonna need consistent off-field elemental application for Neuvillette to gain Draconic stacks, Nahida and Charlotte would probably be best for that, and then you might not have to worry about Lisa as much? Just throwing an idea out there because I’m trying my hardest to think of what I’d do in this situation

The Aranara quest is possible with Xianyun and Ningguang. There are a ton of those target things that you need to use a charge attack to hit... But Xianyun can jump up on things and get high enough in the various domains, and Ningguang has a long range on her charged attack. I haven't finished the last part of it on my catalysts only account yet though, so hopefully they don't have a target that I can't get the right height/angle on... But I can confirm it is possible to at least make it all the way through part 2 of the quest chain (festival utsava) with only catalysts and without wanderer.

For current abyss, First team : Freeze comp with Neuvillette, charlotte, Mona, Sucrose should do the trick, With enough ER on Charlotte to have the burst everytime And second team : Aggravate with Yae miko, Nahida, Lisa (For def shred with ult and electro resonance) and baizhu should work I think

Wriothesley’s plunges scale higher than most catalyst

i would honestly not put baizhu in the nahida team, nahida is enough dendro and you already have kokomi for healing. Baizhu is actually one of the better teammates for neuvillette, cause even though Baizhu shield are very weak, you aren't really using it for damage reduction but for the infinite interruption resistance it gives. The shields also respawns frequently, so unless you get attacks twice in quick succession, you won't be interrupted. You just need to build a lot of ER on him and make sure you do 2 E's twice per rotation. So neuv team would be like this: Neuv, Baizhu, charlotte, Lisa/yae/Klee (this is somewhat of a hyperfridge or Oven, but idk how well your electro/pyro can hit the seeds 😂) other team would be a double hydro-ish hyperbloom: Nahida, Kokomi, Mona/Barbara, Lisa/Yae mona has a bit of field hydro with her E, Barbara also has a bit. oh i almost forgot, make sure you have alot of ER on Kokomi, enough to burst every rotation, her A1 passive refreshes her Skill duration hence more hydro off field

I keep Yae with Nahida, Lisa and Xianyun and plunge on Yae. The Iudex gets Baizhu, Sucrose and EM Klee (not the best team but Neuvi does work and Klee is just there for his passive and blowing up any core laying around). I feel your pain. Field time requirements are a real pain in a catalyst account. For current abyss I'd suggest hyperbloom for side two. The worms are rough for teams that need setup.

In Lisa team, use xianyun, Nahida and Koko. Build Lisa almost EM and have her plunge attacks to trigger hyper blooms when her burst is not available. If she is built somewhat for damage on top of that, she has great charged attacks and plunge attacks multipliers. But her hyperblooms with Nahida will always hit super hard. Plus xianyun can also swirl electricity on top of that.

I've been wishing on the weapon banner for the Widsith as well. 30 wishes in and I have a bunch of Flutes and Favonious lances

Save for C1 it helps a lot

"Kokomi's skill only lasts a couple seconds". Java, her skill lasts twelve seconds and if you use her burst to keep it going when her cd is at like 10 sec, there's infinite uptime

I use Yae Miko aggrevate on the aeon blake drake side and for the longest time didnt know you can knock him down. but her+nahida can actually still damage it quite well and kill it before it comes down

Yae Miko can knock the Aeonblight Drake out of the sky as soon as it goes up if you put her turrets in a certain spot

Since you gave Neuvi a crit rate weapon you could use Hod for him, it's such a massive dps upgrade, my Neuvi on main has lvl 90 lost prayer with 4 hod and he does insane damage

if you’d like any advice on team comps, you don’t need to play neuv as hyperbloom- if you make one hyperbloom team w/ yae miko you can play neuv/hydro/anemo/flex off-field sub dps (or even yanfei for the shield) and he’ll do fine!

You just need to do one part of the Aranara quest to get the weapon.
