This is really interesting. I never really thought about Newgrounds like this before. On an unrelated note did you know that Turkeys were worshiped like gods by the Mayan people in 300 B.C? I just thought this was interesting and wanted to share.

Finally posting on newgrounds after being so fed up with twitter was, without question, the greatest decision of my life.

After watching this I updated my Newgrounds account and made a post. Ima give it a shot!

Being an old school Newgrounds fan in the early 2000s, there was a lot of great stuff that originated my humor and appreciation for independent animation there. It's amazing there is little change since and people are able to work there with an appreciative and respectful community. I'm sadly no animator but hoping one day to give something back with a potential collab project in the future. Keep fighting for the good artists out there, mate.

I started watching newgrounds stuff back in middle school around 2002-2003. Some of the animations I really enjoyed were "The Return of Ganondorf" "The Real Legend of Zelda" series "Legend of Zelda Heroic Rage" series "Phoenix Wrong" "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom" "Legend of Zelda Unknown Origins" "Super Mario Bro Z" "Lordofthematrixwars" and "Naruto Randomness" and many, many more.

You're right! I am sick of all the garbage that has come out as of late! And I do want to get my foot in the door, give my dreams and aspirations an actual chance to exist! I already have seen this video before but watching it a second time it send shivers down my spine... In a good way! Its a difficult feeling to explain... Newgrounds before this year to me was just another repository where I could submit my art. But after experiencing events like the funkinjam contest, pico day, all the newgrounds podcast shows and the summer festival, now I know this community is an anomaly, a wholely unique thing that goes far and beyond just being a place to dump stuff. Now to me newgrounds feels like a vast fertile soil full of people wanting nothing but to help everyone there to grow and excel in any artistic endeavor. I have fallen madly in love with newgrounds and you are very much at fault here!

The last haven for creativity and i will fight for it to stay that way. Also i will check out the stuff you have on newgrounds, sounds interesting.

SO much of my childhood rested with Newgrounds, for better or worse, didn't realize it was still so thriving, figured it had at the very worst petered down but never really considered it dead with all the people i knew who still went there

Last month I decided for fun to try logging in to my old Newgrounds account which I hadn't used in about 10 years and I was really surprised to see how active it still is! Maybe I'll try to upload some future art and animations on there... Thanks for reminding it still exists! I'll be sure to follow you on there as well!

I only really watch documentaries and "True Crime" stuff on KZfaq. That said, I've been on NG since the 90s for the games. It's why I learned Flash Also, isn't Markiplier a NG person?
