Thank you Weekender!!! We absolutely LOVE our office makeover. Ceiling is AMAZING and I think you need to be in our room live to really appreciate it. If the pattern was simple, I don't think the effect would be the same. The drawers in between us offer a sense of privacy and I would have never thought of it! We actually went through our paperwork and neatly organized everything in the cabinets. Our life is organized now and Monica's design was PERFECT :)

What do you store in the upper cabinets? I love the idea but I’m short (lol) & I’m not sure what I’d store up there. I’m not sure how often I’d want to get up there...

The ceiling is the star of the project. I like the ceiling light fixture as well. Instead of boring office fixtures this also says, home. Very creative and well done.

Fantastic results and those tips are gold. It was incredibly sensitive of you to still give them the option of still sharing a desk facing each other. It's funny how things like that are integral to people working at their best. This kind of human emotional design is why you are the absolute best. Charming couple too.

Uhm, what is my favorite?!! There are so many!! I wasn't sure about the ceiling but I think that might be my favorite. It is absolutely stunning & the cabinets match perfectly. The room definitely looks bigger with the desk positioned where they are now. And it gives them so much space & storage. I just love the entire thing!! The color, the set up, the storage, the cabinets..........EVERYTHING!! Bravo!!!

Please start including cost of materials used, even if its just paint that was used on the homeowners existing furniture. It would make a world of difference to people wanting to try out projects!

Prices vary so widely. I’d recommend getting the product list from Lowe’s so you can get local prices.

The use of painted kitchen cabinets & plywood desk tops made the space sooo workable! BEST home office I've seen by far

Everything was beautiful. The ceiling, storage, desk design, lighting in form of light shade and centre lighting in the form of chandelier, high neck chairs, the boards for making notes and calendar, the art pieces to balance empty walls, hanging storage space adjacent to door for mail, the art piece, the clock, the hooks to hang stuff and the greenery on the desk and in the room. Everything was so detailed and carefully thought over. Thanks am learning a lot from you.

I've been watching The Weekender since Rob and Corinne's makeover and I'm loving it. It inspires me to do some DIYs instead of buying everything! I've gone back and watched all the episodes and I'm so glad they are longer now! The wallpaper on the ceiling was a genius idea! Love it!

I was frustrated just looking at that old desk set up, I would be able to stand three years of that. The new space is so much more inviting but it is more professional: I wouldn't be ashamed to have a meeting in there!

everything look amazing but im not really sure about the wall paper color and print, I mean in daylight its great but dont know if its gonna be suitable to work with at night as well. personally i wouldnt be able to do so

A few great takeaways in this - with so many people working from home now, a lot of us need a two-person office, and I can definitely see this working for a shared room! The damask ceiling and chandelier aren't our style, but I could see a different pattern and lighting fixture working for us!

I absolutely love this!!! My favorite part: building the desk on your own and being creative with the cabinets!!! I would start including the cost for the items in the show if possible. I started to use some of the ideas but when I went to Lowe's to check on the items they were sometimes more expensive than I thought they would be. So including the budget and how much the materials cost would be really really good! I absolutely love your show and can't wait to see more!

I love how they have their personal space in the end and at first i didn't have any idea how the table gonna turn out. But it looked really great. I mean the table in the middle. If you have books ordocuments you need to access to, you can just put it there and try not to mess up the main table where you put your laptop, pencils,pens or notebooks.

LOVE this. Fun choice to do patterned wallpaper ceiling. Totally improved the function and beauty. They were obviously pleased and I imagine this really brightened their lives. Good example of how I see such crossover in the home decor and home organization fields. I like that the cabinets were used as an opportunity for color and the homey, comfortable quality the rug, chairs, and plant add.

This was an amazing video. The different way you can use stock products to create a custom piece is amazing. This was a great showcase of how to get a high-end look on a budget. A lot of these ideas would work well in an actual office as well. Great ideas!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this office makeover!! We are going to try to do something like this in our home office. Right now we have two desks on opposite walls and work with our backs to each other.. trying very hard to ignore each others' phone conversations with clients.

I watched this video because of the blue cabinets in the Thumbnails, and I loved it. Use the kitchen cabinets is awesome too. Just one nitpick is that I would use the upper cabinet frame around the entire ceiling. Great work!

I love the weekender series and Monica as the host of the show is fabulous. But as much as the new office looked interesting, to me it seemed extremely impractical. The cabinets under the ceiling are impossible to reach esp. as the desks are in the way for a ladder etc.; the huge filing cabinet blocks the light for the desk area on the right side. The cabinet under the desks is impossible to reach. To use the filing cabinets, the desk in front of them needs to be completely cleared. I think the idea of the desks at the wall and the joint desk part, but using more under-desk storage would have made things more practical.

Beautiful! Though I hope those chairs can go up higher because Melanie is going to do herself some serious damage with her desk that height. She'll need a footrest, and her thighs and forearms will need to be parallel to the floor, or she's going to be VERY sore in not too long! Ergonomics are SO important when sitting and typing all day.
