Usually singer tend to skip the falsetto part, and Abel is just enjoying doing it.
@sereroserera3673 жыл бұрын
They dont skip falsetto, they skip hitting high notes with their natural voice cause it's straining for the voice. Falsetto isn't really their natural voice so it's less harsh on the voice. And a lot of singers dont even sing in falsetto.

For me, The Weeknd is the artist of a lifetime. Without a doubt, my favorite singer ever. He has something for me no matter what mood I'm in. When I'm down, I put Abel on and I listen to his lyrics and they hit deep. His music has an impact on everyone, but especially those who really listen to what he's saying, and can identify with it. When you go through shit, and life gets fucked up, his music is there for you. Like a friend who's never going anywhere, and who you can count on to console you, give you advice, or pick you back up. I know he's just a guy and his music is played by billions, but when you listen to him enough, so much that you know all the words to all his songs, so much that you can feel his emotions through his music, it hits different,
@ranayshapower72293 жыл бұрын

D Lo Some people don't see the sadness, not just in the lyrics but in the effects that Abel puts on his voice. They're so cold and static, yet it's beautiful too. It's like you can see a different side of every song, and I have to say that I know it's no accident. His voice is so concrete; it really grounds the songs and solidifies the lyrics at the same time. See, I said that as a response to all of the fans who say that Kiss Land isn't sad because the beats aren't as depressing. I find Kiss Land even more depressing just based on the fact that instead of spending so much time making edgy beats that sound sad, he spent time crafting the perfect effects to place on his voice, so you feel the man in the lyrics being sad, and not the occasion or the song itself.

No matter how long I've been a fan I always come back here to reminisce. I first heard the Weeknd on an old friend's snapchat story in 2013. I was so captured by his airy falsetto and harsh brassy notes, he has a very distinctive style. Almost a decade later I remain enthralled by him and his evolution and how he decides to "reinvent" himself by giving us different eras/chapters while still remaining true to himself. I'm so proud of how far he's come, and everything he's been able to accomplish. He's so devoted to his art and making sure he's consistently creating and releasing quality material. I guess what I'm trying to say is, "If it ain't XO then it gotta go". Thank you for all of your hard work Abel! Sending so much love! xo

Ty Haddie, 3 projects is nothing. Listen to every single song on all of his albums. He's definitely avoiding mainstream.
@VanIsleBC9 жыл бұрын
he's trying hard as fuck to be mainstream. look at who he collaborates with, the projects he's involved with. listen to an interview wherein he talks about his mainstream ambitions. you're just wrong

seriously. take a look at how many people follow him on Twitter compared to other trash artists (Soulja boy, lil b)
