I've always been a big Weeknd fan and I would say he definitely delivered with this one 🔥going to be on repeat for awhile!

I’ve been riding the hype of Dawn FM since it dropped, I can’t stop listening to it. The way the album flows from beginning to end with every song fading into the next, I just can’t get enough man. The production on this album is 100% the highlight. It’s utterly insane how great this album sounds sonically. Abel working with these legendary producers like Max Martin and Oneohtrix Point Never is such a great pairing. After Hours and Dawn FM are both some of the most cohesive albums of the last 5 years. I can’t sing their praises enough, great reaction. This album will age like fine wine.

So basically Abel has said that the dawn is a type of purgatory specifically for him and it’s basically going over all of his past actions and he’s trying to become a better person at the end. A tale by Quincy was part of this album because similar to Abel they both have had struggles with women both in a relationship and family matters

As for me I have been xo since I discovered him personally during the Bbtm era (pineapple hair Weeknd 💗). House of Balloons and After Hours were top tier for me but now Dawn FM is up there with those. Some of these songs are going to be amazing full tilt at the stadium concerts !! Favorite tracks for me on this are Less than Zero , Starry Eyes, Out of Time and Best Friends PS the drinking the cat piss and reference to Donkey from Shrek got me. Sense of humor on par with me and my friends 😂

That low monotone voice on gasoline is how a lot of male synth pop singers used to sing in the 80s. Think New Order - Blue Monday, or Pet Shop Boys, or Human League. You would barely sing you would just talk…oh and a lot of them were British.

He’s talking reincarnation and the healthy way to move from life to life and you can’t be a phantom caught up on a life where you passed in a negative state or else you have a harder time moving into another physical body. Also the more aware you are of universal consciousness the more choice you have on your next life physical or non.
