Kinda but also not really. For a BS tail you do a BS rotation, but for a BS blunt you do a FS rotation.

Wow. I was under the impression that having the tail fully pressed on the surface was the only way to do tail or nose slides. Today I found out people are doing them with only a little of the board on the surface.

Contrary to most common sense, more surface area means less friction. That's why its easier to push a box along the ground than a table of the same weight. You can also see that ice skates actually have a flat bottom to reduce friction and when its at an angle you reduce the surface area creating more friction and slowing down.

This info would have done me good in my day lol i could nose for days but my tails always stuck...i also sucked at heel anything...i always just thought i just didn't have that in me lol but if i just applied more downward pressure i might have gotten it down lol i always just thought being light footed was the way to do it lol
