Recently, there have been a lot of "Weird Strict Dad" Ripoffs. Games like Weird Strict Brother, Weird
Strict Boss and Weird Strict Mom have been releasing like crazy and I think they NEED to stop. The original game was fine, but now there are multiple and they are all really unoriginal. I feel bad for the original creator, he made something that he likes, and a bunch of people just copy it and mass produce it, sometimes getting a better like % than the original. He doesn't even like them, and has tried reaching out for them to change, but they just won't listen.

Strict hotel guard is like the only weird strict game that is actually trying to be different (even tho it's kinda the same, it still has more nights and chapters, a story, it's kinda harder and there is a boss fight) but I do agree, people need to be different

Interestingly enough, games like adopt me and rainbow friends (sometimes even doors without counting two of them) rarely get an actual game trying to copy them, most of them are bad scams or direct copy paste of assets. However games like weird strict dad and the experience are easy to copy, the characters are all a humanoid rig and the mechanics are simple, they're easy to customise to fit a fake idea of "originality" which become the target to these people.

It's funny how they end up making copies of the copy, since obviously weird strict dad is based on residence massacre, the worst of all is that there are few copies or inspirations of residence massacre, like Claus Carnage and Home alone

When I played weird strict dad I thought it was pretty cool an fun and, I was excited to see weird strict dad (chapter 2) but then it became VERY repetitive and got boring and lazy (like the experience games). It makes me sad to see horror games like doors, a stereotypical obby, break in, mimic, and more lose popularity.

its all just a copy of residence massacre, the ui is awfuly similar, the gameplay is awfuly similar, they were just copying off other peoples ideas and since it was more cartered to kids it blew up.

I played the become dad mode Only the beggining Why? Because you must IMEDIANTLY RUN TO YOUR ROOM and SOMEONE THOUGHT it was a GOOD IDEA that the door open OUTWARDS and when opening unlike doors in other games. This one STILL HAS COLLISION

Hello SenPrista I have a rooms fangame to recommend you It's called Liminal Rooms Basically its a fangame that has a lot of entities and mechanics and can be really hard and intense at times so I would really like if you made a video on this game because it also REALLY needs more attention than it has By the way, a section has 800 rooms but it has A-100, A-200, A-400, A-600 teleporters and other sections teleporters Also at the end of a section you will encounter a-799, a bossfight to try to stop you from getting to b section, its really hard but beatable. This game has A,B,C, and U section (the one that required keycard) I hope you are reading this and make a video on this game. Love your videos

Y'know...I honestly think these games don't know how to balance stats(in a reasonable way and doesn't go down in 5-10 minutes). Especially the original, which tried to juggle the whole food/water thing and the new ship responsibilities (and "Xenobus") Edit: Forgot to say that the devs probably shouldn't add so many stats or have them go down so quickly

geez, and I thought that the "experience" horror games were annoying. These are just riding off the hype train of Weird Strict Dad, which was itself riding off the hype train of Residence Massacre. I also hate this visual style. It's trying to look like "old roblox" but it breaks this aesthetic by mixing the square studs with the round studs on the characters, and randomly inserting modern meshes. You could argue that it's trying to emulate the Get A Snack at 4 AM games who also mixed the old roblox style with newer-styled meshes and UI, and also how these games throw meme images on the wall, but this is a lazy excuse. GASA4-styled games are centered around meme culture in general, and are also full of easter eggs and inside jokes. The memes are there to add to the game's humorous and surreal atmosphere, while here they're merely there to distract you from the fact that you're playing a crappy, soulless game made to farm robux. also, GASA4 games have no gamepasses. especially not in-game. Also I'm glad you mentioned the oxygen thing, its annoying and makes no sense. It's just more padding.

the worst is that some of these games do something that annoys me a lot. Which is that, some games do stud EVERYWHERE. Which in old roblox (dw i'm not one of these "old robok iz better!?!?"), it is supposed to be the studs in the top. Also Residence Massacre is just better than most of these, Residence Massacre ACTUALLY scared me. Not a smiling dad.
