Not everybody likes lightweight mouse. Everybody does the same exact 5 buttons 50g mouse, we don't need another copycat, especially from a small company, ppl would just buy sport mouse from razer or something. So mountain doing something different is a good thing and should help them reach a different crowd.

I love heavy mice, and i love mice that have the wide base with ring and pinky finger rest. I will DEFINITELY be picking one of these up!

As someone who uses the razer naga trinity as my day in day out gaming mouse at 120 grams this mouse is something I’ve had my eyes on for a while. I still use heavy mice for gaming and I think that it’s just strength and personal preference

Yes it is personal prefence also. I'm a long-time original g502 user for example. It started double clicking so I bought g502x and immedietly return it and bought g502 hero version. Some of us like heavy mouse but people always acting like I'm alien in these kind of videos.

I wish this Mouse had a "infinity mousewheel" ... I have the Everest Max, the Macro Pad, the Display Pad and the Makalu 67 .... i would change to the Makalu Max for the "infinity mousewheel"

Kinda my thoughts exactly, I like seeing unique products and not every mouse needs to be a pro focused fps mouse but there are better work mice at lower weights. Still cool to see a new shape though

LETS GO!! Uhh Up the mountain? Well they tried. I try not to knock attempts at innovation, but I don’t see this mouse being the next big thing lol. The idea of a modular shaped mouse where you could adjust the weight from like 80, 70, and 60 grams would be kind of cool.

I stacked my g500 with all 5 5g weights This is light weight compared to that. Tempted to get this.

I did ordered the Zelotes T90 mouse before, it was huge but it fitted so nice in my (big) hand. Until now I haven't found a nicer mouse for my hand than that. Of course I found better mice ;) but the Mountain Makalu Max looks like it is just over the top tbh

Weight absolutely not however I want to wider mouse like the MM-720 that I currently use. There is nothing else out there that has this shape and is lightweight too. A real missed opportunity by most mice companies in my opinion. I will keep looking but I am not holding my breath. If only thy would lighten this up I would be interested.

Was checking MaxGaming just now and 2 interesting mice just showed up there. the first LOGA Shinryu Pro Wireless it got switch how swap and you get like 4 extra switch pairs and a few other things in the box like Switch height adjustment stickers wich i have never heard or thought about before . And the shape is like pulsar x2/endgame ish. And the second mouse LOGA Garuda Pro+ Wireless got hot swap battery. And a G Pro ish shape. And they are both arround like 90 bucks or so. You get a extra battery and a few other things aswell

Kinda disappointed they didn't use the customization to add more buttons options. I own a roccat nyx that is highly customisable with different buttons side panels and this could have replaced it, but for now too simple.

It is similar to Gamesir GM300 mouse that released in 2019 (if I am not wrong). I saw the start of the video and knowing this is made by Mountain, I was quite optimistic as what makes Gamesir GM300 bad is its weight. Then I saw Techne weight this mouse..... Why can't Mountain take this opportunity and make a light weight version of GM300? But instead they just make a copy of a mouse that released 4 years ago.

I'll agree that this mouse market is quite niche but for people like me who are in that market this mouse is such a nice edition to the arsenal.

My logi triathlon is 135gr and i think the mx 3 series is heavier ,,so not so heavy

I'd say it depends on what you're after, for me and a few of my friends this mouse is perfect especially when you account for the possibility of 3D printed sides.

These guys just copy razor they already have a mouse called the razor naga and it's 20 times better than this mouse. I actually think the razor naga is one of the best mouses out for gaming.
