ngl i feel you kinda misrepresented the run story line the wii is a big jump from the main game but to say it's story doesn't make sense it's not exactly true as the "assassin" that you were talking about used to be friend with the main character because the assassins sister was dating the main character (at least i believe so if i remember correctly) she stole the car one day on the track cause he used to race legally and ended up crashing it and dying and the assassin blamed him for his sisters death that's where the rivalry started from and the red head is the daughter of the mafia leader that takes place and she was kidnapped to be returned back to the mafia family at the end she even said her name the last name of the mafia group which explains to why things lead up like that i love your videos ever since i found them however I feel it's fair that you should always try to fairly represent something as best as you can but i feel as in this case you kinda just ignored everything that lined the story up together as I've spent my childhood on the way and the run being one of my favorite ports besides mario party and things like that but yea other then that great video as always man keep it up

@sweetsclifton4667 yea that is true I probably could have shown it differently but honestly I was just too distracted with how goofy the game was and the funny moments that occured during it cause it in end this is kinda what the vid is, just showcasing what goofy NFS game existed on the Wii

@@DoVe_7 lmao yep it is super goofy i had this weird glitch i've never been able to recreate on the race where you're driving the boss and you're chasing after the challenger in the desert where i hit a traffic car and it glitched the car side ways and spun me into a freaking Beyblade traveling well over 600 mph the game broke eventually I wish i knew what the hell caused it because you were literally able to launch traffic cars into the fucking shadow realm yea it's super goofy my impression it was sort of a review of the game as well but i stand corrected Appreciate you getting back to me on that tho!

@@sweetsclifton4667 but the story doesn't make sense, just the idea of people bringing 1m+ hypercars for a cross country race that only rewards 1m for a win is already a huge hole in logic. and that's only one part of the game's bizarre/questionable logic

@@Sharicite i meant as far as the background to how things led up or were like how the rivalry started and why things led up that way because the bottom line story does make sense the only parts that really don't is the one you pointed out which i wasn't defending in my original message i brought up the rivalry part and the reason to why and how it started the 1m while driving cars that are over 2-3 mil makes zero sense and i agree completely but the race its self at least at the ending wasn't about the cash prize anymore as nothing even happens with it at the end of the game (at least from what i remember been a while since i played it on my wii also the beginning didn't make sense ether if i remember correctly that might have been explained i'm not sure)

Maybe DS is better but I haven't played that so I can't say that myself, I can just say that I had fun playing the Wii version

@@DoVe_7 i did play both and i can vouch that ds has more variety in tracks events and mechanics. Personally i love the stunt mechanics and the fact that after every cup you unlock upgrade races where you can upgrade all your cars. Then you get the moon level after the campaign as pretty much a sandbox reward for all your hard work. The moon level changes the physics and you can freely spin your car in the air if you hold throttle and brake at the same time.
