The Arts have been severely affected by the Covid 19 outbreak- many musicians and other freelance occupations are now unable to work. Theatres and concert venues are unable to open for performances due to the limitations that social distancing brings. The impact is that musicians and other freelance theatre workers have no imminent hope of working and earning in this field in the near future. Many of these occupations fall outside the current financial support provisions set out by the government..
