It's always the worst thing for Pro's to recount experiences that nearly end in tragedy because they understand better than anyone just how the Gods smiled that day on your mate, because no one really needed to go there. There is so much luck in happy endings, We had a Matey pro fishing off wide of Mooloolaba in a extended 19 foot Haines that went turtle in the middle of the night in Heavy weather and they spent 3 days on the upturned hull before being found and 3 days of heavy weather had taken its toll, So much luck involved

In an area like that the road is still the hardest bit of ground from driving on it But it’s the price we pay for fishing And when it comes to fishing don’t let any thing get in the way. 🤪

Dose ash still run charter boat Mickey as well as his crabbing ???

Last season he had another fella “Risky” run the charter boat for him while he was crabbing. Not sure what the plan is this season… but Ash will definitely be crabbing.
