The video by Soft White Underbelly where he takes the family to Walmart is a good one. You see more of their personalities and family dynamics. Mark, of Soft White Underbelly, has raised, and continues to raise, money for the family. They’ve used it to fix up the home, buy food and clothing, got a truck, etc. He just released some new videos of when he recently visited them, he spoke with them about possibly helping them get a new home, takes them to get haircuts, etc. I’m not sure if he oversees the money raised/how it is spent, but you can tell he’s truly trying to help them and not just try to scam them for money and views. And when they say Timmy graduated high school, it’s probably through a special education program. My state’s public schools have a special education program where they actually go to the same schools as everyone else, but they have their own curriculum. Once they complete all of their classes, or age out (age 21), they are able to “graduate” with the rest of the graduating class of that year and receive a diploma, similar to that of a regular student.

Mark Laita is a photographer with offices in both Los Angeles and New York. Mark Laita is the rip-off artist and KZfaq creator responsible for conning thousands of unsuspecting and thoughtful people out of their hard earned cash. He seeks out big hearted people and requests that they make a donation to a GoFundMe page for the Whittaker family located in Odd, West Virginia. The GoFundMe is now up $67,955. But the truth of the matter is, that scumbag is keeping that money for himself. The Whittakers aren't seeing a penny of those donations. The dude needs to be locked up behind bars! Don't allow this swindler to con anymore people out of their money! If you're a victim of charity fraud or have information about these types of schemes, you can: 1.) Contact your state consumer protection office. 2.) Report fraud to the FBI at tips.fbi.gov 3.) Report online fraud to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) www.ic3.gov/ 4.) File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/

Missing records are not uncommon in rural areas. My dad was born at home along with his younger brother in the back hills of Kentucky. He has 11 brothers and sisters. He and his brother didn't get a birth certificate until years after they were born. They have a family cemetery in KY and there are probably lots of people buried there that don't have any records of their death. There are a ridiculous number of Hatchers in KY and TN so our family tree would probably fill an airport runway.

I have ancestors from Appalachia. In old, rural America, actual documentation (birth/death certificates/census records, etc.) are NOT common. It's very difficult/impossible for me to track those ancestors further than 150 years or so...and then, ONLY of they moved into more "developed" parts of the US.

Is this the story of the British royal family Mountbatten-Windsor?
@Aircalibur
@Aircalibur Жыл бұрын
To some extent it's the story of every rural family anywhere in the world. Marriages between first cousins were incredibly common in rural areas, less so in cities, though still common. A cousin marriage here or there doesn't actually increase the likelihood of detrimental effects that much. It's when you have a cousin marriage followed by a cousin marriage that problems (often) start to occur, let alone when the relationship between the parents is closer than that of first cousins and the trend keeps going for more than two generations. Royal families are actually far less inbred than most people believe (most of them anyhow). They chose their wives and husbands rather carefully, though there's obviously some inbreeding required if you want to keep the blood "pure" like the most prominent among them did - there sometimes weren't that many people of suitable status nearby, and such. Diplomatic and dynastic considerations also figured in, and they could've led to "risky" marriages.

In the US, pre 1920s, it is difficult to find records. A lot of times I find people cause they are in the cemetary and we have to acvount for them. Also, sometimes the last names were changed to "Americanize" them and unless that name was verbally passed down, nobody remembers them. Also, the expansion of US helps with these issues cause there are not that many organized townships for a while, mostly just homesteading. A lot of immigrants from every direction also. It is hard for the rest of the world to imagine the US as a developing country, but it really wasn't that long ago for us 😀

Didn't there used to be a blood test people got to protect against marrying cousins, known or unknown? I never hear about it now, but it seemed like something I heard about growing up in the late 60's-70's. It looks like it didn't matter then either.

There is a cousin test put out by a company called Genetrace. I'm not sure how commonly used they are. I'm not sure what the use is unless you are part of an insular community. I believe Jews test for certain genes like Tay-Sachs, not for cousinship. Other groups who were historically isolated test for things that became a problem in their communities. Iceland has a phone app to warn people of cousinship because almost all native Icelanders are descended from the same group of Vikings.

I've watched every video about the Whittakers, and there's no way Timmy graduated high school. I think Betty must have misunderstood the question, or she meant he graduated from elementary/primary school. Either that or he's some sort of honorary/charity graduate because they couldn't have him repeating any more years. Timmy's my favorite of the bunch, but there's just no way.

Legally they have to go to school but I cant imagine teaching them anything, school is tough even for normal kids let alone this bunch, my guess is they stuck him in a room gave him some paper and crayons to help them kill the time and then just graduated him. it reminds of that episode of the andy griffith Show when Ernest T wants a high school diploma so they ask him just basic questions that any ten-year-old would know then just gave him a diploma stating he knows a few things.

I'm curious as an American, I had a thought. we have a Franchise in American Football called the Green Bay Packers. The Franchise is a Traditionally small Market team, but they are a club with a rich tradition, and since there is not a lot of other franchises around them they have a huge following. With Wrexham being in North Wales + American viewership. Do you feel like Wrexham could potentially be something like the Green Bay but for the EFL Championship, not going to go on the limb and say Premier, but at least the EFL Championship. Thoughts
@NotFearfulofFacts
@NotFearfulofFacts Жыл бұрын
The short answer is, No. It's highly unlikely to happen. Thats because a club has to be in the Premiere League in order to compete in the Championship League. As a matter of fact, in order for a team to make it to the Champions League, they either have to win the previous Premiere League season, or finish 2-4th in the Prem. The Champions League is made up of the winners of all the European Premiere-level Leagues. A team does not join the Champions League. It has to finish at the top of its domestic Premiere League to get in the Champions League. The Champions League is an elite and separate league from the Premiere Leagues. There is no guarantee that a team in the current year's Champions League will be in the next season's league tournament. As a matter of fact, there is no guarantee that they will be in the next season's Europa League. The European League is made up of the teams that barely missed the Champion's League. In English Premiere League terms, the Europa League would be the teams that finished 5-7th in the Prem. For any of that to happen, Wrexham has to be promoted 4 times. That will probably take over a decade or two. And then, they'll have to avoid relegation and mediocre seasons in the Premier League. With clubs like Chelsea, Man U, City, Liverpool, and Arsenal being the richest, none of this is likely to happen. BTW, not all top flight European leagues send the top 4 teams to the Champions League. Many only send 2 teams.
