I was in the audience back then. I was 17. It cost $3.00 to get in. We also saw The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. They were all great. Before the concert, Pete Townsend was sitting in a car outside of the auditorium. I went up to him and courageously asked what his next project was. He replied 'A rock opera called Tommy' I could feel my face was turning red, and went back to my friends in line. I still have a little postcard for the event that I picked up at the long-gone record store on Crescent Heights at Sunset Blvd.

I was there too, but a hair older, 23. Nice to know how much the tickets were. I can't remember, were there chairs? Or did people stand the entire time?

Fun fact, if you slow down the speed by .75 you almost get the correct viewing speed that would be somewhat normal.

I love how they stack the Sunn cabinets to make their amp setup huge.

Not only damage to his guitar but I wonder if they ever had to pay for damage to the stage!
