George Harrison said that everybody did acid back then. The smart ones STOPPED. I spoke with Keith Richards. He told me me he hasn't touched heroin in over 50 years. His fans still want him to be the "heroin addict rock star". Without the fans (fanatics), us rock stars would cease to exist. "Let them believe what they want. I know the truth of the matter."

Also if ya dig this song by The Who on youtube 😀 you may enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZfaq. 😀

2:39 Anybody "in the know" have any idea if this was an edit, given that they didn't do the outro to "My Generation" as always? They'd played a full set, and unless someone was offstage, telling them "Time to go", it's a bit odd to me that they'd cut it. In any event, those of us who grew up with "Live at Leeds" in serious heavy rotation know where Pete was headed with his noodling, and it's amazing to me, decades later, that he was up there, starting to move on from "Tommy", essentially saying "I've got even better plans ahead. It all looks fine, to the naked eye, but it don't really happen that way at all."

Good point, though. Maybe he really did shit himself. If these guys were high on LSD and whatever other drugs they were taking, they may not have been aware of their bodily functions.

Isn't it interesting how all those British bands of the 60's were so heavily influenced by American R&B? The Who, Stones, Cream,, Stevie Winwood, all of them.

The British Bands, The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, Small Faces, Cream, Steve Winwood were all influenced by artists that the American Mainstream hated, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Fats, etc etc. The British bands took the black rock music and made it popular. Long live music. The Universal language!
