Some of us grow up and realize our lifestyles are killing us so we change it and some don't and die very young -- I'll say this this till I die apparently but Musicians, as a whole, are second to none on humanity and treating people, all peoples, in a very good manner and want to see the world change for the better.. These 2 musicians are what I'm talking about. -- Next group of highly moral people are dirtbike racers and maybe steeet racers...

what townsend says about music being repeated inadvertently by other artists is something that occurred to me many years ago. I remember thinking 'how the f**k do musicians keep coming up with new stuff all the time' it was a real mystery to me.

Isle of Wight DVD one of the best concerts from the Classic Rock era especially the first hour. A must for any rock fan. Just how it was back in the day. Amps, guitars and a hundred people on stage. Those were the days that today’s generation can never experience.

What is not said enough about The Who is that they are an improvisational band. One of my favorite memories is a version of 5:15 performed in Oakland back in the day that went on over 20 minutes. They expand and experiment in ways equivalent to great jazz artists, and that is what has always made them stand out to me.
