Well, I'm from Bentonville, AR and a few of us drove out for 4 days of MOAB glory.
TWE was awesome. And super taxing. And way harder than I expected.
I've edited my experience into t3 parts
#1 - Burro Pass - The biggest climb of the day. 11,000ft of elevation. BEAUTIFUL #ASPENS changing color.
This would have been an awesom 5.2mi route on it own..
2 of 3 in this series is Hazard County
3 of 3 is Porcupine Rim

Early on we did about 1,000ft of climbing. Then mostly downhill but still technical

That looked steep as hell. Those brake pads must hate you after that one.

You’re telling me! At one point I thought my brakes totally gave out… then I pulled on them with another finger and they hit just fine. My forearms were blazing 🥵

As a 1-day epic ride, yeah. As a destination for MTB, nah. As a place to live and MTB, nope. Don’t get be wrong, I love MOAB but NWA is just special. :-)
