Finally, someone actually knows for how long he's been alive. I'm not the only one. At this time his actually 861 years old. He still finds a fascination over things that he used to enjoy back when he was young, like clasical music, the woods. He did befriend a human once when he had already become the Slenderman, a name I can not remember. Maybe someone could help me remember. The ritual that he used is still a mystery, but it is the same ritual that is used to summon him. The ritual is still to this day used to summon him, but it is also the same ritual people use to kill him with, so you can guess he's not too happy to see you once you call him. He still enjoys the creations humanity has given to the world, but he has a deep hatred for humans, hence how the ritual did to his mind. This is also the reason why you can not stare at him directly into the eyes since our minds will not be able to comprehend his face, and we will become insane. This will also prompt him to take you away with him, but to this point, it is sometimes unclear what he does to some of the people he takes. There have been cases where he does unspeakable things to them, like hanging them from their entrails in the forest or slicing them into pieces and leaving their bodies on the scene as proof that he was there. Other cases that are very rare are that he takes a liking to you and takes you to his pocket dimension and slowly drains the life out of you the more you stay in it sometimes using methods that are better left untold, but in this pocket dimension you cannot die until he lets you too. It basically becomes an endless cycle of perpetual torture. Cut to modern days, he has been constantly summoned by random people and cults who wish to worship him as a god or just disgustingly ask him for sexual favors where he immediately refuses and proceeds to kill the person regardless. He has no feelings left in his heart to care about humanity. Remember that. It's better to leave him alone to his on devices. Last but not least, what he became in the end was a Shulkm, which is a species of demon that is half humanoid half a monster. A leading characteristic about this species of demon is that they all possess tentacles that can shapeshift into anything they desire as well as act as eyes that can perceive light and color.

As far as I know, He was once a normal child, but a demonic curse corrupted his mind. As the original movie's novelization mentions. He used to speak quite a lot and liked to hear His grandmother's stories about the Boogeyman, which would foreshadow who he'd become.
