I've already played against this deck twice... if you didn't think Temur Analyst was bad enough, this deck has the ability to combo-over-and-over, CGBs turn starts at 5:05 and the game ends the same turn at 10:08... Then the next game an unsuccessful turn starts at 13:33 and ends at 17:30

I love playing against this deck, let them have a few turns building up, get a World Soul's Rage in their graveyard, usually by a mill. Deadly cover up, remove all the rages and then watch their tiny brain explode. One guy had Goldvein Hydra, he won.

It's wild that there are two decks with a sole win con of Worldsoul's Rage, and both are very strong (Temur/Jund). Especially with so much countermagic and Deadly Cover-Up in the format. It reminds me a lot of Temur Reclamation a few years ago. But even Temur Rec used to have alternate wincons with Uro or the flash wolf plan.

Interesting idea: Leyline of the Guildpact. With Spelunking, it will allow you to tap your sac lands for mana while the ETB is on the sac and with Nissa on the board it will give you 4 mana, assuming you still have a basic to pull.

Ive been playing this deck and climbing up through bronze and silver as my first time ever playing standard and whew. This deck is pretty solid. A lot of people just concede as the 20 land triggers starting going on the stack, sometimes even if i have no worldsoul in my hand.

looks fun. makes me think i can maybe do this with my corrupt deck. i was just mass ramping and playing multiple lands per turn and then launching some corrupts at people. with other more attrition based cards like leach enchantment and mosswood dreadknights. could cut the red colour out maybe if you go for corrupt theres plenty of duo swamp forest lands, that add to the count of total swamps you can also corrupt to gain life in the mid rounds without an otk instantly. corrupt only requires 6 mana too :D

I’d say that the deck needs tweaking to be best of one ready. I added two path of perils and two go for the throat removing two carnage and two bogs to give a little resilience to going second. Still gets stomped by aggro decks if they have the nuts and you draw bad but what decks in BO1 don’t? All in all it’s good enough to climb and the confusion with black helps. The Gix returning Shigeki gives the game reach too

In game 2 when you were searching your library with pillage the bog, why did you grab spelunking instead of the Pitiless Carnage? You probably could have won that turn. Im a bit confused

I have an EDH deck that wins with maze’s end. Scapeshift + splendid reclamation is my favorite combo. I think aftermath analyst and pitiless carnage are cards I need…

Aftermath Analyst is basically Splendid Reclamation on a stick - it's _definitely_ a card for that deck.

A someone who absolutely loves degenerate combo decks this is my favorite deck, but I think the radkos joins azorius deck is the best combo deck in the format and it farms both of the durdle decks. However the sheer degeneracy of having your entire deck in hand and 50 plus mana makes me feel alive.

What makes this better than the regular version? Just wondering why black mana would be necessary when part of the deck is needed for removing aggro lists and I don't see the aspect in this version of the deck outside of Gix's Command which isn't that great imo

Yep this deck suffers from the same best of one matchmaking arena is known for. You will be steamrolled by removal/exile 9 out of 10 games. Against agro dead by turn 4 esp on the draw.

Blehhh... Why Wizards even release cards like this? Boring af, same thing over and over again, takes ages to play. I don't even bother playing against such decks - if I see the combo starting and I haven't killed my opponent yet, I concede the game - would rather play 2 quick matches than watch opponent do their crappy combo while I'm forced to constantly click "resolve" button. What a waste of time those decks are! Sorry CGB, watched 20 mins and had enough of this boring torture ;)
