Back in the 90's, technology was in an incredibly awkward phase of not understanding its limitations or audience. This culminated in incredible things like the Windows 95 Cyber Sitcom being made.

I love the premise of this video. Can you imagine Bill Gates comes back into his office to find that his front secretary has been gone for half an hour, and there’s currently seven people all crowding around and playing on his personal computer in his office. If this was acceptable in a corporate setting in the 1990’s then it truly was a crazy lawless time to be alive.

People like to forget that Apple as a company is only alive because Bill Gates wrote them a giant check. He needed one competitor to stave off antitrust suits. People call Steve jobs a genius, and he may have been, but he only succeed because Gates prevented him from failing. Gates deserves more credit, both as an inventor / businessman, and as a philanthropist.

@@nobodyfromnowwhere7510 that has been debunked actually, the money microsoft gave was due to a lawsuit caused by them stealing software from apple. The 150M $ wouldn't have been enough to keep them afloat if they were on the brink of bankruptcy anyway, as apple lost that amount of money in the next quarter.
