Pour moi Philippe Hirshorn était un violoniste qui était le meilleurs et ne se prenait pas comme certains, il était humble, il jouait à merveille et ne se prenait pas pour un Dieu, ors il était un Ange du violon, pour moi la perfection. Merci Philippe tu es parti trop tôt mais tu reste mon violoniste préféré.

Phillipp Hirschhorn was since 1967, when he came to the Netherlands, my favorite violinist. I want to share my memory of his playing. I remember his vibrance during that concert!

Это очень хорошо, что он вернулся - Филипп ХИРШХОРН. Сейчас его можно подавать каким угодно - европейским человеком или невозвращенцем...это вовсе не умаляет его уникального дарования. Идеология правителей никогда не помогала расцвету талантов - это факт. Нынче будто бы полно свободы для музыкантов - бери любое гражданство или подданство...вон, как Илья ГРУБЕРТ или Илья КАЛЕР - а толку от того !?! Разве они стали от этого великими !?!

His Thommaso Balestrieri violin was on sale before 20 years (or like that) in Europe. It was not very expensive but I could not buy it. My friend S.G. was student of him and he should buy it. But he didn't. Because he had already a beautiful Tononi violin. It would be a very interessant story if he got the violin.
