This MLB Offseason and Free Agency has been crazy... From Shohei Ohtani going to the Dodgers to Juan Soto being traded to the Yankees, I rank the best and worst teams from MLB's Free Agency Period so far.
Tons of players have already signed, like Yoshinobu Yamamoto going to Los Angeles and Yariel Rodriguez headed to the Blue Jays. We've also seen trades such as Tyler Glasnow joining the Dodger's rotation and Chris Sale landing in Atlanta.
There's still lots of Free Agents left to find ballclubs with Cody Bellinger and Blake Snell being the biggest of names, but these are the teams who have won and lost baseball's offseason in 2024 to this point.

As a huge Dodger and Kershaw fan, I doubt very much that Kersh will go anywhere but back to LA after he heals. The drama of 'will he, won't he' is absolutely a media driven ball of tripe. He is a Dodger now and forever and will finish his career as a Dodger. Also, I'm guessing he is excited about having Ohtani and wants to pitch with him so don't be surprised if he doesn't come back in '25 as well as this year.

The Twins have been incredibly quiet this offseason (besides signing Josh Staumount), probably due to the RSN boondoggle. However, I’m expecting the Twins to make some major trade for pitching before Spring Training. As a fellow Twins fan Gomer, who would you like the Twins to trade for?

It’s tough to say because almost any name I’d like seems unattainable haha. Losing Sonny and Kenta will make the rotation a bit interesting early on. If we can grab a couple pitchers and lean on the young studs in the lineup (and stay healthy!) I think we’ll be in a good spot

Yeah but all 29 teams have so don’t feel bad. The Yankees didn’t have a massive roster turnover but that’s fine, health and progression for the young stars is what you guys need

For sure the braves, dodgers and yanks. Personally for me i feel the yanks gave up too much for just one year of soto, but thats just me.

Ultimately that trade comes down to whether or not they can get him to stay, which I think they can. But we’ll have to wait and see

Oh my. The Marlins are so irrelevant that my man here didn't bother to include them in this list despite being the only team to sign exactly 0 MLB contracts, and doing nothing but constitute nothingburger trades. That team can't seem to commit to a direction.

To be fair, it's hard to really compare the small-market teams to the teams with money because the smaller teams were never planning on being competitive in the first place. Thus, they can't really be "losers" if they were never trying in the first place.

Blue jays fans are the losers of this offseason, we haven’t done shit, got our hearts yanked out our body’s by Jon Morosi on Ohtani and we still he the same front office and basically exact same team next year, at least we got IKF 🥴
