Last August at about 9:30 pm I was walking down through the wood that brings you out opposite the bottom Barn when I heard a noise in the foliage to my left. It sounded big and I thought at first that it was something like a deer. I stood absolutely still and the creature, or whatever it was, made a similar large rustling sound again. I stood there for about two further minutes, absolutely still, waiting for another sound, or the creature to make an appearance, but all remained quiet. Whatever it was it wasn't moving either-probably watching me, at which point I became a bit anxious so I walked on and came out of the wood onto the road. Now, similar to Steve's reaction on seeing the banshee creature, although I had a torch and phone with me I didn't use either to see what was stalking me, I just stood there in silence which in hindsight didn't make any sense. A late comment from me but I've only discovered the video. Many thanks!

Brilliant. I live not far from Rivington and love visiting particularly in autumn. Very dark if you go for a hike early morning but when the sun rises, its a beautiful place.

We actually have a lot of them now, due to escapees from specialist boar farms over decades, and also from several "rewilding" projects. There are many in the FoD. Brilliant production though Chris. I've seen a puma or panther coming out of Moss plantation in Kirkby in 2016. I used to poach there. I never went in any of the woods or copses of a night ever again after that. I seen it 15 minutes or so before sunset.

My parents saw a spinning white globe early one summers evening in the seventies coming from Abbey village towards Belmont. It was on the Eastern side whereas the sun was setting in the west. Dad thought it was a government 'thing'. They saw it for a short while then it shot off at speed.

Great show Chris, and a great guest. Just a note. Many people have seen orbs that suddenly appear to manifest from nowhere. Very often just the orb shape can be seen in the visible spectrum... whilst in the infrared part of the spectrum these objects can often be seen as a three-dimensional portal, with some having a "different sky" on the other side. Large bi-pedal creatures have been seen coming through these portals (especially at Skinwalker Ranch), and then after walking off into the night.... the orb-like portal then appears to collapse in on itself and disappear. I think that many of these strange creatures such as Dogmen and Rake-like cryptids are being put down on earth via these portals (for some reason).

5 of us saw a ufo in horwich...it was over horwich golf course...the corner bit of the farmers field..it was about 50 feet in diameter.. a dark silver colour...made no noise whatsoever...I'd say we watched it hover for about 30 secs...it disappeared with no sound... whether it went invisible or moved that fast the eyes couldn't see it I've no idea...my dad's also seen one over rivington ..blue sphere...6ft in diameter...

i have also seen a mane wolf....comming off the west pennine moors....when i saw it i though wow that is the biggest fox i have ever seen....i was in my car and its head came up to mid winscreen level....and it was beautiful but massive ...i asked around , as i am a country boy and know my animalls, i have seen fox , badger and deer up there....but this big fox had me baffled...until i wrote on quora and someone said it could be a mane wolf...i googled it ..and THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I SAW... i pursued further and was told that some were captive in england until a ban came in regarding keeping such pets as panthers and wolves and some were releaseed into the wild rather than culled. so yes..there are wolves on the west pennine moors.
