I have the theory of winter king is not the totalitty of simon because he dont remenber betty and betty in some way it was one of the worst insecuritys of simon because he was afraid to dont see him so he forget who is simon in some way he is just the good fellings but he dont really remenber what happen whit pj he jus think that she was bad and insane so he think she dont have no way to be heal or maybe he dont nhkow what will really happen to him if he heal pb or maybe he is just like a third person in simons body the best of king ice and simmon in a sadly bad way

@@pyroteknikk3127 I think that's an important part, actually. "Moved all the insanity". With that, he regained his sense of self, but we know that what the crown does is *not* only give you madness, but it turns you into Gunther's perception of Evergreen. I think that's why Winter King was such a self-centered guy in comparison to the usual rather humble nerd of Simon Petrikov.

love how this is basically a swap universe, Simon becoming the scientific damsel-in-distress with the thriving kingdom, and PB becoming the crazy insane person living in a cave. well, until the twist anyways

They should have a swap universe where PB is into Finn, but Finn isn’t interested. Then when Ice King captures PB, and Finn comes to save her, PB should start hitting on Finn, then Finn should act weirded out, then Ice King should tell him that PB’s behavior is inappropriate and that he should tell a trusted adult about what’s going on. Then Fionna should meet that version of PB, fall in love with her, but then dump her when she finds out that she hit on a 13 year old. Then PB should get arrested by the banana guards, and they should coronate Ice King due to his heroic actions of teaching Finn to be cautious while interacting with adults.

@@anita-rw3mxmy head-cannon is that this ice king probably learned the insanity-projecting spell in wizard city, completely misunderstood the spell and probably thought it was a love spell or something similar, & thats why he chose to curse PB with it, remember ice king is completely insane and is unaware of how insane he actually is, so when he turned into the winter king after the spell, he probably realized what he actually did to PB, but decided to roll with it because its better than becoming ice king again

People seem to think this Simon is selfish by nature but I think the reason he’s selfish isn’t that he’s a worse version, it’s because the madness of the crown was removed, but the crown does still make a person “like master evergreen”, who we know was selfish and didn’t care about anyone but himself, was willing to execute plans he knew would hurt others, etc. maybe Simon would’ve been the same if he cured the madness, even in a way that didn’t hurt anyone. The madness is just part of Gunther’s perception, but not all of it.

evergreen selfish? i mean, he is not saint, but his intentions were to save everyone from the comet. let me tell you, once he had the crown, a more selfish wish would be "make me inmune to the comet" or "make me inmortal" or "make me a god" or... there were countless selfish wishes to choose, yet evergreen´s intentions were always to wish for the destruction of the comet so that everyone lives. evergreen had other flaws, but i dont think selfishness was one. what i can see in the winter king, is that he never had a betty, this is a simon that was mocked by everyone in his world and never hear a positive voice, not like normal simon, who had betty. this one found the enchiridion by himself and then found the crown, without ever given the chance to care about anyone other than himself. that is the difference between simons, one

@@arthaiser Evergreen gave a dinosaur sentience so he could boss it around and make it serve him. Destroying the comet also, you know, prevents his home from being destroyed. Prevents the dinosaur he's forced to serve him from being destroyed. "Make me immune to the comet" means he'd then be living in a barren wasteland which doesn't sound enjoyable for anyone, same with "Make me immortal". Why would he wish to be a god? He already sees himself as one. I never got the impression that this Simon never had a Betty. Just that Betty was wrapped up in his madness (hence his desire to marry princesses) and when he got rid of it, he also got rid of his feelings for her.

yes, but any influence the crown had over simon’s personality was likely undone entirely when he, finn, and betty were inside golb, since he broke them down to their essential forms

He wasnt a good character, but funnily enough, he probably did less immoral things in his time as a sane* person than PB. Dont forget, he executed the plan to transfer the insanity WHILE insane, which somewhat absolves him of the blame. And then when he was sane enough to fathom the immorality of what he did it makes sense he didnt reverse it. Who else would give up their sanity and subjugate themselves to endless torture? Especially when you dont know the person youre hurting and presumably all your loved ones and ppl that could hold you accountable are gone.

Oh my goodness I've absolutely love this so much the song was pure fantastic the colors,the aesthetic and the artstyle are just mesmerizing and very magnificent and I've wanted to give kudos to the incredible voice actor to play the role as the winter king Brian David Gilbert for his wonderful singing performance and amazing voice acting's skills and he absolutely enjoys the role as the winter king and he devours the role as the winter king and his singing voice with no bread crumbs left in sight and the animators for the fantastical job for the color's,the aesthetic,the background's and most importantly of all the animation it looks absolutely beautiful and very magnificent and bringing the very wonderfully fantastically magical winter wonder land to life and the animation looks so fantastic and the aesthetic look gorgeous to bringing the beauty and the majesty of the ice kingdom to life and most of all the background's are magnificent to look at and bringing the cold atmosphere and the animators really knocked one out of the park and I've tip my hat to the voice actor and the animators for giving their all by golly and this is by far the best animation in animation history and this is by far the absolute best and my personal favorite adventure time song's of all time!

Ok i really wanna know what happened in this world. Winter King KNOWS what Ice King looks like, he MUSTVE been Ice King before. But we know that he didnt actually resist the power of the crown. Did Ice King come up with the madness transfer spell? Did Ice King lose his magic like the episode when betty came to Ooo, and did simon come up with it, thus why he died instantly when he lost his magic? If so why the hell is pb like season 1 pb. And of course, where the hell are finn and jake. It's so interesting to me!!
