My boyfriend says he can feel that I haven't had a father which is annoying, both because I feel like I was raised better than him(or he was just mean as a Kid so he wasn't as easy to raise as me 😅) and also because I feel like his father is less masculine than my mom so I feel like she was just the perfect combo of mom and dad 😂 In the end it might just have been because she is an alcoholic while his parents are a kindergarden-teacher and a busdriver, so his home was more more "normal" and well-functioning.. So all this got me wondering: What were your dad's able of teaching you that your mom's couldn't?
@josephornelas942

Pineapple as Elliott’s dad mentions in the video, your children learn by watching you. They’re constantly observing, and however a father presents himself to the world is what his children will see and replicate. If the father is strong, reliable, disciplined, compassionate, protective, providing, etc., the children will intrinsically understand that this is what a father should be. Without trying, a good father implants the blueprint for manhood to his sons. Mothers cannot do this, because they are not fathers. They can be great parents and even fulfill all the roles of fatherhood, but they can never be fathers. Your mother cannot give you a father’s perspective. She doesn’t see the world the way that a man does, and she’s not supposed to. This is why it’s important to have both the mother’s and the father’s teaching/presence. My mother has never had to woo a woman. She’s never had to worry about being a good father. She’s never struggled with not feeling like a man. She’s never been a man and never will be, so she can’t teach me anything about being a man. A good person? Sure. But not about manhood. The man and woman’s journey is different, so it makes no sense for me to take a map from my mother that shows a completely different journey than mine. I need a map from the man who’s been where I’m going. Who has scoped the terrain, encountered the pitfalls and predators along the road, discovered how to continue after he stumbled, and eventually reached the summit I myself wish to stand on. I need that man’s map, so that I can stand alongside him as I prepare the same map my sons. This is especially important to get from my father, because I’m his son. His blood courses through my veins, my genetic makeup, temperament, and abilities are derived from him. He more than anyone knows what I’m about to face, so it only makes sense that learn from him before anyone else.

The way Elliot Hulse’s dad talked about food is truth. I can see why Elliot grew up to be so wise. Great video. These are the types of families we should be lookin up to, not dysfunctional families that have no sense of masculinity/femininity, lacking family values and not seeking the truth. God bless these three great men.

Elliott's advice holds so much ground in the books he has read so far, and in all the studying that he has done searching. But it's amazing how his father expresses so much wisdom in simplicity, without any book references or great thinkers philosophical quotes. He found the recipe by living and probably by what his father told him before him. This is so rare. I'm thankful I have found this interview!!! Thank you Elliott!

This is what is called lowering your wings to your parents regardless of stature, wealth etc. He speaks about the Creator because, He truly controls all and He is the Ever living. Eat healthy, and exercise as well as Read and study to gain knowledge so that you can implement it with proper application. This is strength!. I am honored to see you and your Abi standing firm in good health. Truly amazing and definitely encouraging . Thanks for this interview.

You inspired me to be great in many ways then i drifted off for a few years and as of late i found myself re-watching your older videos and new and I see now. Your spiritual upbringing and rock of a father is what molded you. I love my father and almost look at him the same way you do yours. Continue to bring back masculinity and thank you so much for what you do. Peace.
