@alexfebrianoo6 жыл бұрын
to be honest geralt is not that great fighter in a way,even in books,he might have superhuman sense,slightly more agile and have strong resistance to most poison but he does not have superhuman strength,in fact the only reason witcher is capable to hunting down monster is because they lack the sense of fear and gross and the knowledge about the monsters(apparently monster in witcher universe are stink and ugly) geralt is also almost die when fighting a bunch of nekker,so bad that not even his potion could save his life,if not for his mother he would have die,and witcher are very dependable on their potion,but with that being said,if it's 1vs1 fight geralt of course will win,he fast than average human,no knight match his skill in 1vs 1 combat,but a bunch of people definitely can take him down,it will overwhelming him,even a group of scoia'tael ,dryad and nilfgardiaan soldiers,can take on geralt and captured him,by simply outnumber him even the masscare of kaer morhen done by a mob of angry peasant,not even trained soldier,they only use the help of mage to locate kaer morhen

For me it’s probably the most iconic fight of TW 3: the set - burning manor, this ethno eastern europian vibe provided by the beautiful score (that resonates with me even stronger due to I’m from eastern europe), two skilled men fighting in the rain, one being infamous monsterslayer, and the other one probably having killed a bunch of folks in similar encounters, that all creates just perfectly hitting atmosphere. And yeah, this fight turns more spectacular if you go pure swordfight, no potions, no signs just you, olgierd and your blades. Geralt whirling the stonehearted man and than dodging those von Everec’s attacks…ah this is marvelous.

@retrocny56254 жыл бұрын
@@Riviscira If you guys play on PC, I highly suggest using mods. There's a mod that lets you replace the Witcher gear sets so they use the Kaer Morhen armor models. You can pick and choose which sets you want to replace. All of them, only one, etc. This way you don't have to worry about gimping yourself by using the low level armor with that model. You get the Kaer Morhen model, with all the usual stats of the Witcher school set you're replacing it with.The Kaer Morhen armor is just iconic. It looks incredible, it fits with Geralt's style and it makes sense lore wise, with the kind of armor Geralt would wear. Lightweight, durable, function over form, not gaudy and bright, etc. Weird how they spent all that time designing it, only for it to be replaced an hour into the game, and the stuff you replace it with looks hideous until you're high enough level to craft your Wolf set at 14. The wolf set looks good, but I would've rather seen them design it around the Kaer Morhen set, with slight upgrades to the design as it goes up in tier, like usual. I highly recommend the mod if you're playing on PC. Very much worth it if you love the Kaer Morhen design and it's clear many people do or no one would've thought to make the mod in the first place. Won't help you if you're on console though, unfortunately.

DM is the best to way to play this game and feel some challenge, only enemies that use a lot stun/knockback moves are dangerous. two questions: how do you counterattack while already parrying and why is there that red thing going on when you hit him?
@raxabit_7 жыл бұрын
Radu Basturescu you release and press it again exactly when he's is about to hit. I don't know what the red thing is though, but when you see it you can attack :)... looks like Goku's kaioken.

thanks a lot! btw, if i have quen and parry this boss, whill he be parried or will he break the quen?
@raxabit_7 жыл бұрын
Radu Basturescu parry should always work with or without quen. he shouldn't break quen if you parry normal attacks

SPOILER It is his sword, Iris. He gives it to you after you save him from O'Dimm. I am not sure but the sword glows when you hit/kill enemies, if it glows red, it means it is niw charged and you can use it to unleash a devastating attack which also consumes a portion of your HP.

Am I the only one who's reminded of Rafe's moves from Uncharted 4 boss fight, looking at how Olgeird swings his sword? Those undercuts are extremely similiar :)
