@@silmaril17 A good lesson in these RPG games is to save often AND having multiple saves . First playthrough was more experimental for me , I kept reloading save's after cutscenes to experience more or all of it the first time around . Something I've learned in the past before with others like Arcanum or Star Wars : KOTOR .

I'm currently playing Red Dead Redemption 2, its getting me the same vibes that i got when i played witcher 3, different worlds but there is something so unique and nostalgic at the same time, music, story, the cruelty of the world, such good games!

@@steamavila1818 RDR2 is definitely a great game with a mature plot. Great choice. I played it on PC but never was able to finish it. Now that I have ps5 I might buy it later this year and play it all over again.

This game will forever hold a special place in my heart. I got it back when I was still in high school and life wasn't so complicated. I remember I'd play through this every weekend. When I finished the game the first time I felt so empty. Then the dlcs rolled around and I played them too. Toussaint took my breath away and Hearts of Stone was a fun experience to have during Halloween. After that I must have played and replayed the game over a 100 times finishing it on death march difficulty in the last playthrough. On my last playthrough after finishing everything I took one last stroll through Velen, White Orchard, through the bustling streets of Novigrad, the wind swept forests of Skellige, the isolated and deserted Kaer Morhen and the beautiful vistas of Toussaint. I hung up my swords and armor and exited the game one final time.

@@malthusg1115 This. All the good rpg games I can think of invoke this feeling. Like you’re really immersed and invested in a different life. When I finished Witcher 3 and its expansions, it really felt like I’d lived an entirely different life and that Geralt’s experiences were my own.

Im sure we all have painful memories we wish we could forget. But im sure for many of us here we wish we could forget the unforgettable memory of playing TW3 for the first time so we could relish this incredible experience again for the very first time. Best RPG of all time by a small group of devs who breathed life into a masterpiece.

"Streamed multiplayer action-shooters Fortnite and COD style, everything released only heavily censored and PEGI12 rated T, with China release on mobile phones first and coming to other systems later, are the future of gaming!" Hmm the good news is Witcher 4 was announced a few months ago. Unfortunately Witcher 4 will take five years to release so this game is so far in the future that it´s not even sure if it´s still getting released on actual hardware, or on some future PCs PS6 and next XBox.

I hope that Witcher 3 isn't the peak of gaming industry because I want something as immersive and amazing as Geralt's story but if it is I am glad that I lived in this time and age. I have doubts in Witcher 4 after Cyberpunk but one can hope. I will die happy knowing that I played this :)
