Weird glitch: If you give it to Triss, you can still give it to Yennefer later at Kaer Morhen. The crystal is so powerful, it spawns twice.

I wasn't able to give triss the crystal on my playthrough but I wanted to know her answer to if she'd join the lodge again or not so im glad she said no lol

This is mighty interesting to compare to when you give crystal to Yennefer. She focusses on restoration of eyesight being really impressive feat and couldn't care less about the Lodge. Practically the exact opposite of Triss's reaction. Very nice touch CDPR it reflects the attitudes and opinions these characters would hold very well. Yen has well concealed contempt for the Lodge and disagrees on the fundemental principles while Triss really still cares about the idea behind it. Yen is more interested in complicated magic that Philippa can pull off while Triss takes it as granted simply because for her Philippa is well above her own capabilities and understanding.

so after this mission the game never mentions the crystal again? it doesnt matter if you give it to triss, yen, radovid or keep it to yourself with the exception of radovid giving you reward there is nothing different?

I've stopped taking the crystal to Triss and just give it to Yen, it just feels like Triss is judging me for taking the contract. Its not like I had any intention of giving the King Chess Nerdmaster the crystal, anyway. Sheesh.

When I try to get into radvoids boat to give the crystal, the guard says I have no reason to go, tris already left novigrad, and there is no option to give it to yen. What should I do?
