Love how this track is composed, like waves. Each wave bringing new emotions and each more tragic than the last.
@mAcroFaze4 жыл бұрын
Like waves... That's such a good description of this piece :) It works so well in that way because the chords are so drawn out and each passage slowly dies with quietness.

Love the whole soundtrack, but when this song comes in at the abandoned village of that first contract, it really captivates the whole story behind her demise etc. Absolutely one of the best moments in the game for me .

When the main character feels sadness or hatred. Really any emotion at all and the game really shows that emotion it makes it a ten times better game than it was before

Part of what made the Witcher 3 so fantastic was the use of leitmotifs throughout. I don't know why more games don't do this. Rather than having random peaceful music that then turns to combat music whenever you run into an enemy (ie Skyrim), they actually had thematic music playing during dialogue and in different situations when they tied into themes earlier in the game. Truly marvelous; I don't think we'll ever see a game like it again.

so many emotions are bound to this game and the soundtrack... a truly marvelous feat by the developers.
@LaundrySucks3 жыл бұрын
The abandoned village in White Orchard is one of the saddest places in the game imo. The way Claer (the noonwraith) was murdered was horrible, and knowing that she was left hanging in that well for over 20 years because no one was able to get to it is tragic. This music adds so much emotion to an already awful place.
